Saturday i did two full up libs in a row without taking a step. I also did two toss cupies in a row without taking a step. I would love it if you could offer me any suggestions in regard to stunting. Ive only been doing this for just under four months so i need all the help i could get.

bumping it up again
Goldberg, thanks for keeping this up, bro! To say that I am impressed is an understatement. I will fully admit that I never made toss cupie, but I still believe I can help. I think this should be thought of as any other sport: basics first. Think about this. You are doing one of the hardest FINAL POSITIONS of a stunt. To me, that is the basic of strength. If you can answer yes to the question, can I do a regular push press into any stunt, then you have the basic of strength. There are other basics, though. Do you have the flexibility and endurance, because THAT is where the hard part comes in. What’s next? Thinking of the FUNKIEST way that you can get that girl INTO that final position. What does that take? FUNCTIONAL strength and flexibility. So, NEVER neglect flexibility and make sure that you have unbelievable functional strength. Let me quickly tell you something about myself. When I cheered/stunted in college and at Nationals, I was 5’8" and 170 pounds. My stunt partner fluctuated between 130-135 pounds! To anyone else reading this, understand that most top stunters are 190+ (read: much stronger) with partners that are less than 110 lbs (read: much lighter). I had great functional strength in any stunting position because I grew up on a farm and worked my ass off everyday in high school, instead of working a job or screwing around at night. So, continue reading Coach Davies’ Renegade information, think Westside Barbell style of lifting, increase your flexibility (Pavel appears to be a good source), and STUNT!!! If you want more specific things to start working on, go ahead and ask, but think about this first.
