The only cooking shows you are allowed to watch are the ones from the country you currently reside in. The only exception is the original Iron Chef and you get 1 season from your previous residence within 2 years of moving.
@Iron_Condor I’d have to disagree a bit here. I think a lot of countries had the material means and resources, it’s just that they had poor leaders; leaders who put their interests and pride above science and the better good of the people.
I bought a new truck in April that tells me how many hours are on the engine. I learned that I drove for 28 days last year and it was a down year due to Covid.
I leaned to ignore/avoid anyone who is adamant something is good for me. No one is that concerned with others that they continue to push an idea for the sole betterment of others.
I listened to 27 days worth of podcasts and books. I’m sure I picked something else up. Ha.
Not so much learned, but I have officially accepted that 99% of social media is awful and will negatively skew your perception of the world around you.
I learned to relax and to be happy without being busy and on-the-move all the time.
We all need diversity in our hobbies and passions. Music is a great distraction from lifting and vice-versa.
Cardio is a miracle pill provided one is not a shithead about it.
If you put health first other things will follow.
Alcohol fixes anxiety for an hour or three, then makes it worse for a day.
Technology is awesome for keeping up with family during a pandemic or busy period.
I have shared my story of what my family went though starting at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020 so i wont write it down again…but i certainly learned a thing or two from it.
I learned just how emotionally strong my wife is
I learned that sometimes certain family members dont deserve to called family and sometimes friends become family (that ties into a part of my story that i havent told yet)
I learned that there are idiots and there are smart people. Smart people are the ones who always strive to learn and improve while idiots are the ones who think they know better.
Sometimes quitting is more ballsy than keep going.
When you want something, the whole universe doesn’t give a f*ck if you will achive it or not. Deal with it and use your time more productivley than whining.
I was trying to teach this to my boy over the holidays. There were other children over and his (and some others) food was ready first. He sits down but the kids he was playing with enticed him to keep playing.
Then their food was ready and of course they were now interested in food and not play. Which confused my son no end. It also left him with a cold plate of food he didn’t want to eat. So he got neither play or food.
The lesson here is that adults and children are the same, it’s only what interests us that changes lol
