Have you read any Hebrew or Christian mythology? I think it’s called the Old and New Testament. There is incest, killing, and some supernatural crap along with lots of crazy traditions in those books. Some people even think the books are fact even though there isn’t one piece of evidence that verifies the source.

You also hate Greek/Roman Mythology aka God Of War and Clash of Titans.
That is true. I just put the memes thing for your benefit.
Hate mythology? What foul heresy is this?
Learning mythologiy from God of War or Clash of Titans, is like learning psychology from Dr. Suess books.
He hated it in HS when we were required to read it, it just carried over to the games, books, movies etc.
I think you can count the number of 14 year old kids in the world that really liked mythology without an abacus.

Kids hate everything you cram down their throats. I’d probably have hated it if I had to study it at school. I just gravitated towards it.

Yeah, but somehow the story just doesn’t flow.
It’s choppy stuff and boring with a few highlights.

It took me a while, but when I finally got smart enough to understand what was really being said, I liked it too.

They made us read The Hobbit and Dune my freshman year, I then on my own went and read LOR and all the Dune series.
Reading this right now and its really good.

If you haven’t yet, try some Riordan Very entertaining, and quick to digest.
Newspapers… Its never good news. Never.
Windows and SQL 2008…Holy shit do I hate these products. They took everything from Win 2003 and SQL 2005 and made it worse… I am no Linux or Apple fan, but this shit MS is pulling with these super shitty, unreliable as fuck products is giving me pause to reconsider.
It seems to me that Microsoft of today has become the American car industry in the '70’s. They think their shit doesn’t stink and people cannot live without them, so they put out horrible crap and expect people to just take it.
If Apple wasn’t so damn arrogant and proprietary, they would be making a major dent in MS’s global product domination. Fuck microsoft, arrogant asshole, piece of shit making, cock suckers. Windows 2008 is the ‘Pinto’ or ‘Chevette’ of operating systems… It’s not even compatible with some of it’s own built in components…Yeah, it has that ‘wow’ factor. It’s allergic to itself.

Good god that shit is annoying. I’ll add people that brag about how great they are at beer pong. It seems that 90% of the college age population thinks they’re world fucking champions when in reality, they all have about the same skill set.
Hate that damn song. All songs that are like that.
I don’t want to sound stuck up or “think I’m better than you” ish, because I’m not, but it bothers me when I see people back in my hometown (small town in SC) that wear nothing but gear with my school’s name, talk about nothing other than the fact that they love the school, the football team, etc. They tailgate for every game, they talk huge amounts of shit to fans of our rival (most of the people they talk shit to are just like them, they just like our rival school), etc.
When in fact they either barely passed high school, or dropped out, work minimum wage, and have absolutely no affiliation with the school at all, etc.
I’m not saying you can’t be a fan or cheer for the football team just because you didn’t go to school there. Plenty of people do and they don’t annoy me, but these people are so fucking obsessed, it seems like they’re trying to make up for the fact that their lazy asses never had a fucking chance to go to the college, or any college for that matter.
Does this happen elsewhere?
Also, I fucking hate people that post pictures of them going “out” every damn weekend. They post all these damn pictures as if they’re some kind of socialite or celebrity or whatever. I know that 90% of the time you and your friends are just going out to dinner dumbass.

…what about that “Tonight, we are young…” song?
…and that whiny “Somebody that I used to know”?
How the hell do crappy songs like that get that much airtime?

You know what I hate? I hate those motherfuckers that you went to high school with that continue to believe they’re going to make it as rock stars and all they can do is play Say It Ain’t So by fucking Weezer and some shitty classic rock songs usually Teh Eagles, but never anything from the 21st Century and they get a gig like once a year at some shitty bar and everyone you know loses their minds because Greg/Sean/Kevin/Etc is ‘playing at Dipshit Dan’s tonight’
Fact: nobody ever got famous playing Weezer covers. Or covers…

OK, good call, but I think they were destined for charting anyway. Anyone else come to mind?
