the beatles. Absolutely fucking hate them. I hate even more how many people think they are good or great gods of music. Nope. They are not. They suck. People like shitty music by nature. Other artists during the same time were doing much more complicated pop songs and here comes the beatles all simple as fuck and ooooo everyone wants to suck their dick forever. Fuck them.

And it is your right to hate them.
However, it’s the context in which you find this hate. You compare them to everything you’ve heard up to this point. If you look at the dismal music scene at the time, the Beatles influenced a generation for the better. In fact, the bands you love NOW have most likely been influenced by bands that were truly inspired by the Beatles. Much of what we have today was influenced by a handful of classic bands - the Beatles were one of them.
