I have been to CA exactly one time (for a company tech conference in Anaheim). That was enough of that. Thankfully the whole trip was on the company dime because even Carl’s Jr. cost me $17.
We could walk to Disneyland from our hotel…much less impressive than Disney World and still way overpriced.
Pfffft come drive i240 in Memphis and dodge the Altimas with 3 donuts and no fenders or bumpers weaving through traffic at 110 amidst the sea of clapped out finfins and base model charges / challengers competing for dominance.
All while also avoiding the constant gun fire.
Think death race, but with more guns and shittier cars.
HOAs again.
Can’t wait to move and not have one of these.
Now I have to spend a bunch of money and a day re-sodding my yard because these assholes care that shit looks green more than they care about the local ecosystems all the chemicals and runoff of grass lawns ruins.
It’s Florida, it’s a swamp. Grass doesn’t naturally grow here. I would’ve rocked my whole yard like they do in Arizona but that’s “against the rules”
If anyone knows of a great way to make an HOA board go f*ck themselves I am all ears.
When I play Texas Hold’Em online, and someone (a donkey) goes all in with almost 100 big blinds with 10, 5 offsuit against my pocket Aces and…gets two 5s in the board run out! I would not have even played my Aces like that, but was basically forced to. Online low stakes is just a clown show!!
I came back to MI recently from TN. Michigan has legal online poker. It was on BetMGM, which is Party Poker. The micro tourneys play worse than free live poker leagues! I have played in decent games with free poker leagues. Online, It is just a game full of coin flipping most times. Oh…and many times it is the worst hands and plays that win. In other words, it seems like if you have studied poker a lot and learned solid smart play…do the opposite with online low stakes lol! I wouldn’t really, but…
Yeah, I have just started avoiding anything with a rebuy. It’s just bingo. Couple of weeks ago, I played a $25 freeroll that had $1 rebuys and add-on. Dude spent $61 to place 5 spots out of the money. Pure silliness.
Exactly! You know what I am talking about then. That is definitely a crazy poker strategy lol. I have to agree with your idea to just avoid the games that have a high probability of playing like that. Good luck on the tables!
