The war in Afghanistan is OVER!!!

Or does it start with Iran supporting syria? That whole region is fucked up. Some of the richest countries in the world building islands in the sea, and all kinds of other insane shit; but yet can not be bothered with keeping control of their region. Let the Americans do it, then complain about infidels in the holy land. FUCK YOU saudi arabia, FUCK YOU qatar, FUCK YOU kuwait, FUCK YOU bahrain, FUCK YOU abu dhabi, FUCK YOU dubai (probably missed 1 nation)

How about putting out the fire in your backyard before buying more maybachs.

Hire some north koreans to go fight isis

Complaining that the Emirates aren’t doing enough to control Islamic radicals in Syria and Iraq is kind of like complaining that Switzerland isn’t doing enough to control Islamic radicals in Denmark. Yes, they happen to be on the same landmass, and yes, they have money, but it’s just not their business.

Especially since we’ve made it ours.

We had to step in, if you recall Saddam invading Kuwait and them asking for help.

2 decades later, they still can not be bothered to deal with the chaos in their own region.

Edited

The Gulf states and Pakistan have been seeding/infiltrating/training/arming/directing and using these groups to further their foreign policy interests. Just about all of them(terrorist groups) get state funding of some sort or another. That’s why there’s such a big problem with terrorism. There are states behind it funnelling in arms and money and training and trying to direct them. The Mumbai attacks for example, were coordinated by powerful ISI officers. These states are all terribly corrupt. Karachi is the largest smuggling port on earth and the profits from smuggling dominate Pakistan’s political landscape. They’ll never be able to clean up their books because everyone is involved in some way or another. The whole system is rotten to the core.

You’re painting with a mighty big brush. Pakistan is Pakistan, and not really part of the conversation. When you say “Gulf States”, I think you mainly mean Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the two most pernicious donors to the Islamic State. Yes, a small but steady trickle of money has been flowing from the Emirates (which is the only state I was referring to in my post) as well, but from private donors, not from the government. And unlike in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, the government is actively trying to stop these donations.

The Arab Gulf states are similarly corrupt and elements of the Saudi government are involved in terrorism directly. The Qatari government are deeply involved in directly supporting terrorism. It’s not the same as Pakistan but it’s similar. And the UAE? Yes, it’s a source of many private donors.

If the gulf states and pakistan wanted to end radical islam, it would end. They do not want it to end for whatever reason.

What about now in Pakistan, prior to the school massacre? Do you think their attitude has changed? And what to do about the ISI which funds and aids certain terrorists if not all terrorists there?

Yes, we agree.

If the United States wanted to end the criminal drug trade, it would end. They do not want it to end for whatever reason.

They should both end, WTF is your point?

That’s a perfect example of how the both governments know exactly what’s going on, how to stop it if they wanted, but chose to do nothing.

Yes. That was in fact my point.

It is in the US government’s interest for the illegal drug trade to continue, so they do nothing to stop it, and even abet it through protecting opium production in Afghanistan.

It is in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Pakistan’s interest that radical Islam flourish, so they do nothing to stop it, and even abet it by harbouring terrorists groups, providing them with arms, funds and training.
