I dunno but I’m thinking they have to knock off one of the main characters before the end of this season.

How about we make a T Nation Survival Guide for the Zombie Apocalypse ?

My thoughts:

Agree with Chris, need more Daryl. The only point I took away from the short section with Daryl and Beth is that most of the people are in a close vicinity to each other, but aren’t in the same exact place at the same exact time and so aren’t meeting up yet. Also, I liked that they showed that even the great Daryl who beat the tank was heavily impacted by Herschel’s death and the fall of the prison.

Lizzie is a psycho and I predict her sister is going to be the one to put her down to save someone in the group or multiple someones. I agree with Four60, Carol burned the bodies but no way she killed them. I think that’s why Carol was so distant with her in a later episode, Carol knew what she did was somewhat scared of her and didn’t want to get close to the little crazy kid.

While Glenn is still small, he’s not the 120 lb weakling from season 1, which I thought they showed pretty well when he was tied up in Woodbury. I agree a sick Glenn rushing through the group of walkers was a bit far fetched, but then him collapsing later kind of trued things up, that he’s still recovering and weakened.

I’m wondering how they are going to portray Abraham in the show. In the comics he was Rick’s replacement right hand man after Tyreese was killed. On the show both Daryl, Rick’s right hand man, and Tyreese, who I figured was the go to man in waiting, are still alive and kicking. I think the show writers have heard loud and clear that fans believe Daryl is off-limits for killing, so I guess we will see what happens.

I read some rumors that terminus is the sanctuary from the comics. Since they haven’t moved from Georgia yet if that’s the case then it seems to stray from the comics some. Also, introducing the saviors gives me some angst, even if they don’t really get introduced fully until next season, for obvious reasons.

And what the fuck is up with Bob? I mean I know it’s a big cast and all, but D’Angelo Barksdale seems very under utilized on the show so far. Is Bob ever going to get some story line beyond the fact he likes booze?

I’m only on like the 20th comic so I haven’t gotten too much of that story down yet. Didn’t they mention Bob was some sort of medic or something at some point?

So Tyreese knows that Carol killed his girl right?[/quote]

This was the one thing I was wondering- I thought he knew…? Maybe he was in a situation where his emotions had to take a back seat due to their current predicament and it will come up in an upcoming episode

I was under the impression that Rick never told them the real reason Carol didn’t come back. Of course, Carol didn’t do it in the first place…

I think the only one he told was Maggie, when he first got back.

So for certain the Lizzie pschyo killed the people

So I’ve read some people pointing out that Tyreese, Carol, and the kids went one way down the tracks (towards Terminus), but Daryl and Beth actually went the opposite way. That kinda sucks. Unless it means those two end up bumping into Rick/Michonne first. Who knows.

He told Daryl and Maggie the truth. Rick and Daryl were about to tell Tyreese, but the Governor’s attack interrupted them.

Wait, what?

Let’s be clear here, the show is past this part from the comics and Tyreese is still alive. Herschel replaced Tyreese in that story arc from the comics. The show has strayed so far from the comics that I have no idea what they are going to do with Abraham, since I have no idea what they are doing with Tyreese right now.

I really enjoyed the last episode. Firstly no Carl. Secondly with them all split up it leaves it quite open as to what happens next. It beats watching them staying at a farmhouse for a season and to some extent the prison in the last season.

  1. Acquire handcuffs

  2. Acquire Csulli

  3. Attach self to Csulli

Good to see Rick’s killer survival instinct kicking back in.

Nice outfit on the new girl (Rosita?).

Scientist with key to humanity’s survival has mullet? Lacks credibility.

Haha you have no idea

Nor can he shoot a rifle after spending how many years with an army sergeant?

That was my question too- this dude hasn’t at least been trained? I think the conspiracy is that dude is not really a scientist at all but has faked it and therefore pretends to be some sort of inept physical body and acts all high and mighty b/c he is “smart”. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was some criminal or something else and they fell for his lie…

  1. Mullet guy is clearly a fake.

  2. Pet peeve #1 : pretty much all “auto” M16s are “burst” auto – that is, 3 rounds pull trigger pull – this full auto death flower stuff is bullshit. Also, even burst is bullshit when trying to do head shots.

  3. Pet peeve #2 : Pretty much all the rifles have adjustable stocks. They are plastic, and, while not fragile, are not like a normal rifle butt. Hitting anything with an adjustable stock on the rifle will probably break the stock.

  4. Pet peeve #3 : duce and halfs (the military truck) have self-sealing fuel tanks. You can shoot them and they leak a bit, but the bladder inside will seal the tank reasonably quickly.

++++++++++++++++

Other than that: just watched the last two episodes on demand. I liked them.

I like the Sgt.

I liked Rick’s hiding under the bed, etc. It was pretty cool episode, in general.

I would have picked up the pistol the suicide family left behind.

Like the midriff girl’s outfit, but my outfit for the apocalypse would lean towards less flesh — a BDU or even a set of Dickie’s overalls – give you a bit of time for a walker to chew into denim, if they could do it at all.

So you’d give Csulli a 200-pound flail permanently attached to his arm? Okay, but I hope you brought a helmet.

Ha, dude could that ass shot have been any more gratuitous? “I have to pick this thing up off the ground so let me turn my back to the camera, widen my stance, and bend only at the waist to get it.”

Felt like a good episode. Kinda good to see Michonne being humanized more and more instead of being a caricature strong, silent, ninja-badass. Tara seems like good people, I hope she doesn’t die.

I only thing that really confused me was after Rick killed the dude in the bathroom. Do people really still use Uzis? I thought they were, like, disappeared for the last two and a half decades.

Even for a marauding gang of post-apocalyptic bikers, it just seemed like an odd weapon choice. I get that it’s practical, but, [nerd glasses] that was just a little beyond the scope of suspended disbelief. [/nerd glasses]

I like how almost every other gun on the show is fully automatic now. Where are they getting all these automatic guns from? I know some are military issue, but a lot aren’t, and fully automatic guns are pretty rare.
