The Surge-GWB Gets Credit

And as I pointed out, and am very much ashamed for laughing at that.

For the record, if anybody else responded the same way at that story, I’d probably start calling them names.

Of course there is a difference.

I guess that after five years of hearing about the daily horror over there, my subconscious took over to relieve some of the bottled-up pressure.

The sense of helplessness can translate into very bad thing. If selective cynicism and chuckling at the suicide bomber who struck at the funeral of a car-bomb victim can help me keep a cool head, I welcome it. Don’t know if you’ve noticed, but people have been doing stupid and ugly things out of frustration.

I’m not excusing my behavior. Just thinking out loud…

I give you credit for admitting your wrong, you should do it more often.

Trust me Lixy, as a fireman I get black humor. What’s sad is you can’t or won’t see the difference in the two scenarios. There’s an expansive difference between terrorists killing civillians and a billionare roofer falling through his own roof. The later actually being somewhat ironically humorous. Think about it.

Fuck it, it was funny.

Dipshits cheering their president on when it comes to torture and mass murder will lecture you on when it is appropriate to laugh?

I don´t think so.

No, it really wasn’t.

Orion,

I challenge you to find a reference to me cheering on mass murder and torture at any time. Get back to me when you do.

Methinks however, that you’ll need to look no further than your Austrian roots to find such references. I’m just sayin’…
