The Supreme Court Fight is On. The Divide Worsens

If it is still our individual money, why is it going to things I disapprove of, too?

Then it seems you kinda answered your own question

Because you don’t have enough support to influence voting. It’s a const republic after all, not a slothcracy

I can’t answer that question. It’s directed to you for your answer.

Does it make them bigots?

If you answer mine I’ll answer yours  can’t do much with half the info

By the definition of the world? Sure. But if that’s the standard, people that hate Nazis are also bigots so the word essentially loses it’s meaning. By how I, and probably the majority of the country think about it? Probably not.

Ok, am I a bigot? What info do you want before you answer, sorry?

This one.

Oh, no

Then with the information I have, I wouldn’t call you a bigot, despite your feelings about the church/school/hospital.

Edit: assuming those feelings apply exclusively to those organizations of your religion, and not of all orgs

Thanks man!

Man if planned parenthood quits accepting my money, I would not only greatfully have every private school not accept a dime of public money, I would even be willing to give up the church’s tax exempt status.

Now THAT is a trade I would take any day every day all day.

Can we just draw up papers and make it a thing?

Hear that whoomp-whoomp-whoomp in the distance? It’s not a black helo, so there’s nothing to be worried about. Just continue to sit there with your hands where I can see them.

But how the Church believes they should be treated has changed.

Maybe they are already transformed by their own recognition that the Papal states no longer exist. I mean, you seem to assume that Catholics are not capable of getting along with gays and don’t want them around (which would mean they would lose a large number of priests). But I’m sure that if a gay person came up with a cure for cancer Christians would have no problem using it. Even that baker.

Certain, not all. Whether a christian, muslim, jew, whatever, likes it or not, you are an American first.

With a gay priest…and the commie values of the Pope…

Define exercising (the Amendment doesn’t mention expressing). Is it going to church? Saying Grace before a meal? Fasting during Ramadan? Lighting the menorah? Or is it baking a cake? Does telling a baker to bake and sell a cake interfere with him exercising his religion?
