Canada where you are taxed at something like 44% federal. Well…let’s see if Hillary is elected (and she won’t be) she promised to raise taxes an additional 5%. That means I will be paying 44% in federal taxes alone. Canada will have nothing on us.

Socialism here we come!

Well worth the read:

Stories from “mainstream” media sources are inherently wrong, even if all they are doing is reporting Trump’s actual words.

Pretty much all you have to do to run an anti-Trump story/ad is just wait until he speaks, then report whatever he just said.

Was fun while it lasted…

Read that earlier and one point I have noted before, was that the 3rd Party have no grass roots in which to grow themselves. Trot out a candidate for CEO of the “Free” World, get trounced by only picking up disaffected that will go and vote, and pack it up for another 4 years

A bit of a non starter like hitting on a waitress, stripper, or flight attendant, getting gently rebuffed 99.9% of the time, and then bragging to buddies how brave your effort was.

What I’m wondering about since I’ve read the news about Johnson is where all of the “anybody but Trump” voters will wonder off to now? Hey they always have Jill Stein…

I’m really shocked that the owner of a Pot business turned out to be a lefty

Y A W N

That’s really strange, I could actually appreciate him loosening his principles in some regards to build a bigger base but targeting disaffected Democrats over Republicans just does not make any sense to me…

I don’t think Johnson’s support of a carbon tax makes him a “lefty”. (If it does, Charles Krauthammer, is also left-wing, since he supports a gas tax.)

Ideas about carbon taxes and the like have traveled around conservative and libertarian circles for some time, as even conservative economists recognize that certain externalities are not being adequately priced in the marketplace, pollution being one, and something has to be done to begin to account for them. Hence, a carbon tax or carbon trading.

Plus, Johnson said he supports getting rid of income taxes and replacing them with consumption taxes, which a carbon tax is, or would be, a part.

A nationwide carbon tax will not reduce carbon emissions in any significant amount. The US represents 4.5% of the global population, which means we can all drop dead tomorrow and nothing will change with global warming. Unless you get China and India on board, it’s pointless.

What will happen is government getting billions, people’s energy costs will increase, and naysayers will be labeled as science deniers.

God above. That makes a volte-face on every policy but trade.

So, Trump’s approach is pretty much in line with the Gang of Eight and Marco Rubio (for which Rubio was fricaseed, of course).

It is a total farce. If I were a fan of this huckster, I’d feel like quite the idiot right now.

It’s okay because he’s going to pick super conservative judges. The most conservative judges. It’ll be the most conservative Supreme Court ever.

Believe him, he’ll tell you.

In response to Anderson Cooper’s question re: deportation of all illegals:

“There is a very good chance the answer could be yes.”

Straight talkin’.
