The Next President of the United States: IV

What is she afraid of?

Nothing with this GoP candidate.

She has a big persecution complex with reporters though that goes back quite a ways. She will probably hold the least press conferences of any POTUS in the last 40 years when elected.

So we have the worst natural disaster in Louisiana since Super Storm Sandy, Obama hasnt done shit and it’s cool. If this were Bush, he would be crusified. Just an observation.

There are theories abounding where if Hillary gets over stimulated by too many questions she goes into some sort of convulsion. Seriously, that’s what I heard. This allegedly stems from an earlier brain injury where she fell. Keep in mind I am not saying this is true.

Anyway here is one clip many of you probably have already seen it. Whatever she has she doesn’t appear to be acting normally in this clip. Her republican allies on this site may want to defend this weird behavior. Some have given her a pass on everything else I’d be disappointed if one of them didn’t rush to her defense.

She tries to blame it on her drink but…I’m not quite buying it. Who knows what’s wrong with her besides the obvious…a chronic liar

She’s not doing interviews because:

a) The media sucks donkey balls and isn’t doing their job

b) She has exactly zero reasons to do interviews as they can only hurt her chances of winning in November.

Agree.

It is also to her advantage to continue to allow Trump to garner all the media attention, because in most instances he is his own worst enemy.

There are reports that her campaign is actually reducing spending in certain States that against a more “traditional” candidate they would have been spending more.

She should just release it if she is ill. From a tactical standpoint, if people thought they were voting for Kaine, on the off chances Hilldog kicks the bucket, she’d be up 15 points.

I don’t like to get involved in the political discussions here, but I also just can’t let stupidity of this level go unchecked.

Watch the video from the second angle. It was very clearly an over-exaggerated response to being startled by the reporter’s question.

You could certainly be correct on that. And her many coughing fits could just be her bad dinner repeating on her. And when they helped her up the steps to her jet it was probably just because she was tired. And when she was late coming back to one Bernie Sanders debate it was probably because she was in line at the ladies room. And when I see her grab the railing with one hand and take one very cautious step at a time when she climbs up to the podium pulling herself up to speak it could be she’s just being overly cautious because she does not want to fall again.

Hey…honestly I have no idea if she is in good health or not.

By the way who are you voting for?

You’ve trolled this forum for years. Not taking the bait. Nope.

I only posted because I’m sick of seeing this particular video and corresponding bullshit perpetuated across the internet and in real life.

You keep having fun with your grocery store checkout line stories.

My mom, who has lived in the U.S. for close to 20 years by this point, can’t speak English.

She can understand it enough to go out and do things that a normal house-wife would need to do (buy groceries, go meet the teacher for whatever school function and know what’s going on, etc), but can’t actually speak it.

She made a couple attempts to learn it in class here and there, but lack of enthusiasm for it plus raising kids meant that she never made a serious attempt.

She never held a full-time job. She worked part time here and there, but only for a couple of months at a time. I think the longest she worked was when she leased a small store.

Based on what you wrote previously, she wouldn’t qualify for her green card and would have to leave.

Unless you make an exception to include that the spouse may be working a full-time job and can speak/write competent English.

Personally, I find an “extrance exam” to determine your eligibility to immigrate absurd.

Is she literate in her native tongue? Just curious.

Yes.

Why do you ask?

Edit- I have to say, what an insulting question.

Fuck you.

It would be quite unusual to not be able to become literate and fluent in a second language if you are literate in your native. Reading skills transfer between languages and of course fluency is accelerated by access to native speakers.

At least in my wife’s opinion - 35 years speech and language pathologist, along with reading, dyslexia, and esl certification.

Hard work, I know - but well worth it imo.

“She made a couple attempts to learn it in class here and there, but lack of enthusiasm for it plus raising kids meant that she never made a serious attempt.”

I’m against an entrance exam and I’m not in love with an English exam or requirement. Being a housewife would be fine with me.

I see, so how long have you supported Hillary?

Placed here because I can’t find the stupid thread.

Thoughts?

Much better than the current GOP candidate, could possibly do ok in Utah as a morman but I haven’t heard him gaining much traction anywhere else.
