It’s quite hilarious that you’re casting stones seeing as you suggested we should emulate the NAZI’s while also outright supporting the NSA spying on Americans in order for Trump to unilaterally and forcibly remove Mexicans from this country essentially taking a giant shit on Due Process.
Pretty much, yeah (though for reasons given…and meticulously evidenced by empirical fact…and not remotely refuted by Raj, his use of “farce” here is nonsense).
As for Trump’s chances, they are small, but they aren’t small enough.
(BTW above I wasn’t saying that your argument is fallacious, just that the non-fallacious collation of the current evidence looks like what I laid out.)
I know. You guys (TB, Biz, yourself etc) are really fired up about Trump and I’m looking to take it to my bosses and spend some billable hours on here today, so I’m fuckign with you guys a lot.

The real reason smh is concocting this Trump-Putin farce?
An embarrassment of evidence has been marshaled in this thread. You have refuted none of it; you have tried to refute none of it. You would probably be incapable of refuting it even it it were refutable, but as of now it isn’t.
Nobody is confused as to whether or not you have an argument here. Nobody is wondering whether or not you might be right. Nobody suspects that you might be an intelligent or decent person. And unless you make some drastic lifestyle changes, nobody ever will.

He wants to deflect from the effectiveness Trump’s Muslim ban would be in improving America’s safety.
I already beat your head in on this, remember? When I explained, using words with which you weren’t familiar and concepts that had never crossed your fatuous little alt-right mind, how and why a “Muslim ban” would destroy the foundation of global counter-terrorism even if it weren’t unconstitutional and, because there is no way to discover religious conviction, childishly stupid? Remember? When I taught you a basic, 100-level crash-course in foreign intelligence and how it is gathered? When I explained how a freeze in diplomatic relations with Muslim-majority countries would decimate our ability to monitor and disrupt transnational terror cells? Remember when I explained to you that this isn’t just a thing for neckbeards to babble about from the computers in their parents’ basements – that this is in fact an actual professional trade, an incredibly important and dangerous one whose practitioners think people like you are
A. Stupid
and
B. Dangerous (because you want to make it harder for them to do their jobs)
I think you do remember. Anyway, you had an opportunity to respond on the substance. You passed. Not that I’m surprised: as I’ve already observed, your interest in international politics is clearly new and, just as clearly, an accidental function of your interest in elevating an alt-right muppet and buffoon to the presidency as some kind of grand “fuck you” to those of us not afflicted with the interdependent constellation of intellectual bankruptcy, rational deficiency, sexual inadequacy, career underachievement, racial resentment, and general loserishness that has formed the core of Trump support since his first ludicrous days as a candidate.
And when we have proof that the Russian government was the culprit and not just a Russian, we should retaliate.
However, until that time there was revealed deep seated corruption inside the DNC. It’s high level corruption that exists at the highest level in the Democratic party. A corruption that subverted the democratic process and installed a Hillary as the candidate without fairness and transparency.
Do you honestly believe this is the first cyber-espionage breech on the U.S. by a foreign power? If the Russian government did it, it was a stupid move on their part. I just couldn’t possibly imagine they would actually prefer Trump over Hillary.
Hillary can be bought. Her foreign policies allow Russia to run unchecked in any part of the world they see fit with little repercussion.
Being a leftist yourself, I see you are prepared to bury the corruption problem in the DNC as quickly as the left-wing media outlets. I understand why they want to bury it, they are in those emails too. I saw them in those emails and they were part of the corruption. Not everybody, but CNN, CBS are two I know of.
If the RNC email servers were breached and revealed the kind of corruption that the DNC emails.
Here one where Debbie calls Sen. Sanders ‘a damn liar’.
"On May 17, 2016, at 10:38 AM, Debbie Wasserman Schultz <hrtsleeve@gmail.commailto:hrtsleeve@gmail.com> wrote: Damn liar. Particularly scummy that he barely acknowledges the violent and threatening behavior that occurred. "
Russia? You sure? More like Saudi Arabia. And she is definitely corrupt. But as I wrote before Trump failed to tackle the Saudi question so no difference.there.
Just to repeat - Trump’s foreign policy and Russia advisers ARE ALREADY bought - Manafort with embezzled Putin’s money and Page who is officially on Gazprom’s payroll. And he is listening to them completely so far.
Also, Trump promised to “look into” recognizing the occupation of Crimea.
If the USA were to recognize the occupation, it would join the brave socialist utopias of North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela who are the only ones who recognize it.
And they say socialism is a dirty word in US politics.
Well, duh. I think it needs to be called out though.
It’s interesting to see those on the left, so frighteningly concerned about “the Russians”, when A) We do not know the government is responsible. B) This isn’t the first breach of government servers and document dumps on wikileaks and C) THIS WASN’T EVEN A GOVERNMENT SERVER. It’s the DNC’s server, they are not the government. So it’s not exactly like they hit the Pentagon.
Everybody here bitching about Russia doesn’t apparently give a damn that their own party has been revealed as corrupt. If the DNC was operating a fair primary season, it’s very possible that Sanders could be the candidate accepting the nomination.
I don’t see anybody put out by that fact.
I also don’t see any outrage over the security breaches caused by the Democratic candidate hauling around actually sensitive government material on her own unsecured server, that was possibly (and likely) also breeched. And the fact that she could make 30,000 emails disappear into thin air. A feat nobody without tremendous financial resources could do, since emails are always stored in at least 2 places (unless they are unsent drafts).
Remember, “Nobody cares about any damn emails.” All the sudden, there is a lot of care about some “damn emails”… Oooooooo the Russians! (maybe)
Russia has been outsmarting this administration for 8 years, I don’t see them being as careless as to rig a dump of the DNC emails exposing themselves in such a way for something dumb. Exposing their espionage over DNC corruption? I guess it’s possible, but I wouldn’t know why they would do that. Why would you reveal your espionage tactics just to embarrass the DNC, knowing that the media is going to bury the story 6 feet deep?
Any candidate who is running would be treating SA with kid gloves. As badly as you and I both would love for the U.S. to tell Saudi to go pound sand, that’s just not going to happen for the foreseeable future with any president or administration. Starting a fight with Saudi Arabia during a campaign is not in anybody’s best interests if they really want that Oval Office.
Do you have proof of that allegation? That there was an exchange of monies between Russia and Trump?
The point to have done anything about Crimea has long since past. All anybody can do now is denounce it. The U.S. tolerated Soviet aggression for decades. We didn’t kick up a fuss when tanks were rolling into Czechoslovakia for instance. But Vietnam? We could have that. We needed to kick them out of a 3rd world country in a civil war, but a peaceful sovereign Eastern European state, meh.
What’s Hillary going to do about it? I haven’t heard her say word one about Crimea or the Ukraine.
We know shes on the take from countries who support terror, treat women like garbage never miss the opportunity to turn the knife a little more when ever they have the chance. She love wahhabists, gays, and flowers.
She handed Putin a ‘Reset’ button. I wouldn’t put her past taking a bribe to look the other way so Russia can do some aggression somewhere, say like Syria.
An embarrassment of evidence has been marshaled in this thread. You have refuted none of it; you have tried to refute none of it. You would probably be incapable of refuting it even it it were refutable, but as of now it isn’t.
I’ve already refuted it shithead. Manafort has been an advisor on many Republican campaigns stretching back to Reagan. Unless you are claiming all these candidates he’s advised in the past have been compromised you’ve got nothing linking Trump specifically.

Oh yeah? How has a decade and half of endless intervention via the War on terrorism worked out? Last I checked there are more terrorists than ever, terror cells have spread to multiple countries, a million plus deaths in Iraq alone. Clearly help from Muslim majority countries hasn’t done much. BTW a former CIA director has said that in America the Muslims have offered no help in the war on terror.
Trump has stated he will ban countries with a history of terrorism which is constitutional. As I posted earlier Obama has put sanctions on immigrants from Venezuela

Has it ever occurred to you, with the benefit of a huge ocean between the US and muslim countries, it makes it overwhelmingly difficult for muslims to commit acts of terror on US soil without foot soldiers on the ground? Their representation in the US thankfully only 0.9%.
Jihadis don’t have a traditional armies with uniforms and tanks, they blow themselves up, slit throats, cause social instability while outbreeding the local population.
I knew you were a xenophile but openly airing your hatred for working class whites (his voter base) ^^ just shows your true colors.
Just say it straight next time, no need to beat around the bush.
No it’s to transparently boost up Trump by harming Clinton so Trump will win, because they are apparently morons and have no idea how politics work, like anywhere, and certainly didn’t anticipate the high brow hammering of Trump by the upper echelons of intelligent people.
I mean, whew. Good thing we caught their clever ploy from reading the Gray Lady. Who knows what these devious super geniuses would have gotten away with if it wasn’t for our focus on the obviously failed super plot to prop up Trump bay hacking the DNC.
Well, Drew. You and I may be two the very few who are going to be casting their vote solely on the issues. All I can do is cast my vote for the one whos stated views match my own the most and hope they manage not to fuck it up to bad.
In the end, we have to choose between a crook and a buffoon. There is nothing about the two people running that are remotely appealing, but I have issues I want dealt with. The issues, not them decide my vote.
Sincere question since you are from near to that part of the world
Since Ukraine and Russia seemed to be cousins of the same empire for 1000 years, does Ukraine have any support to keep it from being more or less taken back into the Russian empire, other than from different ethnic groups trying not to feed the monster next door?
And this is the kind of idiotic assessment you get of a joke when you have no sense of humor and you support the opposing candidate AND you may be implicated the DNC email dump as well:
What stupid reporting. “He made a joke about Clinton’s email scandal, THAT MONSTER!”
Manafort’s most direct involvement with Kremlin interests – installing and then working for a Kremlin puppet in Ukraine over the course of the said puppet’s disastrous career as president – began the year Reagan died, so it isn’t at all clear what the fuck you believe to be significant about Manafort’s activities decades prior.
But, as I have already explained in a series of simple English sentences, it isn’t only that Trump has surrounded himself with Kremlin-entangled assholes like Manafort and Page, it is that he has surrounded himself with Kremlin-entangled assholes like Manafort and Page
–while running the most pro-Putin American presidential campaign in history, replete with pathetically warm, unctuous rhetoric and specific policy pushes
–while overtly signalling his lack of commitment to the principle of collective defense enshrined in Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which is to say: while openly talking about vitiating the single most important deterrent against Russian aggression and expansionism in modern history
–while benefiting from what looks on the evidence/strong (and strengthening) expert consensus to be – contrary to the lazy innuendo that is being peddled on this board – direct FSB/GRU subversion of an American presidential election
So no, you haven’t refuted anything at all.
I could go on and on, sentence by sentence, word by word – but we’ve established beyond the hint of a doubt that you aren’t worth the wasted time.
Edit: In case you aren’t figuring this out, I’ll explain slowly:
I am not alleging that Trump is consciously working for Putin, though that is a (far-fetched) possibility.
I am marshaling the facts and thus showing that, as it stands on the available hard evidence, Trump is a cretin getting duped by somebody with an obvious interest in installing a cretin (and, better yet, one with Kremlin stooges in his ear) as POTUS. Perhaps this interest is so strong that FSB and GRU were specifically deployed in service of it.
Is this enough info about Manafort. Court depositions detailing how he owes money to Putin’s banker.
Trump’s team completely ignored the GOP platform, including all the points which are at odds with Trump’s proclaimed stances. So Trump and co don’t care about anything the platform, except for one obscure line for which they employed cajoling and twisting of hands to get it changed. A line obscure for everyone, except for Vladimir Putin for whom it’s of prime importance.
Isn’t that even a little bit unusual?
Also, every Trump’s public discourse about Russia is in line with the Kremlin.
But hey, what do I know:
Trump’s campaign rhetoric is the “biggest dream of everyone in the Kremlin,” Tina Khidasheli, defense minister of Georgia, a U.S. ally, told The Post. “It’s scary, it’s dangerous, and it’s irresponsible.”
Don’t know what the big deal is about the hack, Hillary claims there isn’t any sensitive material in her emails, she should be cool as a cucumber with the hack.
Unless she really did have some classified shit in her emails.
Very short summary - not cousins, more of a dysfunctional abusive relationship. Ukrainians were part of Austro Hungarian empire and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, not as much time spent with their “cousins” as one would believe. Also, one tends to remember 3 million dead by forced starvation less that 90 years ago.
Ukrainians are pretty much on their own, most of the direct help comes from Eastern Europe countries now in NATO and EU (that’s why NATO is so important to Putin).
US does help, but it’s often pathetic - for example, busted up, broken down old National Guard Humvees for which the civilians organize crowfunding campaigns to buy spare parts from the internet. Some UAVs and counter-battery radars, but token stuff not to upset the psychotic Bear. Nothing compared to the money spent on the fiasco called “organizing Syrian rebels”
Heartbreaking stuff, when you look at it closely. Volunteer soldiers dying daily under WW2 scale Russian artillery barrages, not sure how will it end. Ukrainians are grimly holding on, fighting, getting killed (it’s not in the news, but it’s a regular conventional war there) and waiting for something… they put a lot of faith into the US…
