But you’re a Canadian who ascribes to anarcho-capitalism (best I can tell) - there’s nothing particularly “American” about you by your own measuring stick.
Tell me, are you converting to our ways? Are you now professing to be a center-right Christian that thinks the family inviolate, rejects continental political philosophies, and likes football over soccer?
That was a direct call out to you, given that we’re in approximately the same region, populated by hundreds of thousands of Scotts/Irish over the past couple hundred years.
I think that Raj needs to adjust his sense of scale for time.
I run into some ginseng too, just not enough to mention.
Quite the eclectic blend of eastern European, Celtic, and Oriental influence mentioned in just a couple of posts.
To be fair, I should mention my bias on this subject though. Four of my nieces/nephews from one brother are half oriental, and two from another niece are half Mexican.
You can barely tell though. It’s not like they walk around the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh smacking a piñata while wearing a sombrero.
Hardly. You have weak trolling skills. I’m busy in my lab at the moment, waiting for some analysis to come through. I am, however, pointing out that you don’t understand how to evaluate numbers for context or usefulness.
I wasn’t thinking here on TN so much as in today’s culture.
I (and 100% of the student body) was forced to take 2 courses at Uni of Houston in 1984 to graduate from a selection of 6 or so courses - all geared at diminishing Western Civilization. While done ostensibly to give the student a more rounded and less myopic world viewpoint, it was on the leading edge of indoctrination into a globalist viewpoint.
At my unsophisticated age of 24, I saw it as a pain and only considered put into motion by ivory tower eggheads and hippie leftovers. At 54, I took a remote class at Jr College in Business Organization, and no kidding, diversity and its wondrous powers was basically the main idea of an 800 page textbook.
Your “mounds of evidence” are not sufficient because they aren’t evidence. The BS link you posted earlier is garbage and I pointed out why, which I see you have not disputed.
You see what you want to see, but many of us demand a bit more than a poor interpretation and/or a flat out misrepresentation from a guy that also wrote IS GLOBALISM ACTUALLY DEMONIC.
Yup…
Yes, I am coming to that conclusion as well.
It isn’t about diversity for diversity’s sake. It’s about the American Dream. It’s about creating an atmosphere of freedom and liberty that offers the opportunity for the world’s best and brightest to make the most out of their lives.
It has worked out quite well for the United States thus far.
So did the creation of the world’s first real Constitutional Republic.
This is a completely ridiculous and false parallel, which you’re well aware of. Japan is a highly homogenous state. The United States has an entirely different culture and history. Christ, you could take a couple of hundred thousand Texan’s and drop them into Maryland every year for 50 years and the culture in MD would be totally different.
I agree, this is getting old. It’s the same shit. You just ignore 240 years of American history because it doesn’t jive with your view of the world.
I assume you are against Christian mission work then? Spreading the Gospel and all?
