So the government run sectors of healthcare(Medicare and Medicaid)in this country have costs that don’t rise as nearly as much as the so called “free-market” system we have here and we are to keep the system going as it has proven itself an absolute disaster because you are afraid of a rise in taxes? Tell me how much do you think taxes will go up vs. how much less in healthcare costs you’ll spend?

As for evidence counselor I’m only requesting that which is requested of me… Why does the FDA take so long to approve therapies that as of yet can’t be patented by Big Pharna? Because of their concern over the public health? The therapy has been tried in other countries(Panama is one) with great results. Why should Americans have to wait for approval from the FDA so Big Pharma can make more off of their misery? They aren’t waiting if they can afford it. They are traveling outside of the country to receive the therapy. Peyton Manning did this several years ago when the healthcare system in this country failed him. He then came back and had one of his best years ever. Maybe he should have just ended his career early waiting for the FDA to prove it was safe. No he took matters into his own hands and enjoyed several mopre years in the NFL along with winning another Superbowl.

So when do we realize capitalism is failing like slavery and feudalism once did? Should we keep a failing system or try for something better?
We literally have the largest economy in the FUCKING world while paying for the vast majority of NATO.

I don’t know of a single person that doesn’t agree with this…No one thinks our system is perfect. It’s just far better than every alternative to have ever existed to this point in history.
A good portion of the Middle Class has moved into the upper class during this “hollowing” of the middle class.
I don’t have an “ideological economic system” I have a “I live in reality and this is how it works” system.

A middle class income is roughly $35,000 to $75,000.
Hollowing out I define as disappearance as real wages remain stagnant as jobs are moving overseas and being shed for automation. 2 ways in which capitalism is eating itself.

Automation is a direct consequence of driving the minimum wage up beyond a certain point–how would you get both a minimum wage increase AND stop automation of non-skilled jobs at the same time?
Forget healthcare, forget overseas migration of manufacturing jobs. How would you solve this one problem?
