Then why do employees of Walmart need government assistance to survive if they are being paid “extremely reasonable wages”?
The FDA ostensibly are a consumer protection agency when in fact they often protect markets for Big Pharma. They purposely delay this treatment. Not for the benefit of the consumer as you believe but to protect the profits for Big Pharma. This treatment has been successful for thousands of people and very few have been negatively affected when going to a reputable clinic. FDA DRAFT STEM CELL GUIDANCE DOCUMENTS EXPOSED AS IMPROPER RULEMAKING, BAD SCIENCE AND HEARTLESS PUBLIC POLICY - Stem Cell Institute but controlled research studies are the only way to determine whether a therapy is the driving factor behind clinical benefits. Tell that to the people that have been helped. No, they don’t. You just don’t like to face reality. You don’t know how to assess evidence, and you don’t like to be told you’re wrong by people who, you know, actually DO research for a living.
Deal with it. It’s not our fault. You are not the gatekeeper to some greater enlightenment, you are in fact absolutely unable to make reasonable judgments.
That proves nothing. You didn’t even lay out evidence of people at Walmart needing to be on welfare. What percentage? What age generally? What are their jobs? Do they have large families? Single parent? Level of education?
Once again though, no one is forcing them to work at Walmart. If they feel like they are being underpaid, leave. Why does everyone feel so damn entitled? I bet you think the greedy CEO should take a pay cut and give everyone an even bigger raise than they just got.
And you don’t want to admit that the FDA is protecting markets for Big Pharma. The fact that the U.S. is/has done more in the field of research than anyone else only makes the situation worse and helps to prove my point. People are traveling outside of the U.S. to have this treatment that has helped thousands all the while you want more studies. If the people who want the treatment see the positive effects on others, who are you to say they can’t have it until more research is done? Terribly arrogant you are! YOU are not the gatekeeper to some greater enlightenment, YOU are in fact absolutely unable to make reasonable judgments.

Once again though, no one is forcing them to work at Walmart. If they feel like they are being underpaid, leave. Why does everyone feel so damn entitled. Typical answer from a buffoon who only understands what corporations say. The labor market is being depressed for the enrichment for those who already have more than enough. As corporations move overseas in search of cheaper labor. Not for the survival of the company but for the lust and greed of those at the top, so they can make even more. All the while helping to destroy thousands of families in the process. How proud and honorable they must feel. The internal contradictions of capitalism are beginning to surface as it eats itself.
LOL. Your ignorance knows no bounds.
How many clinical trials have been done on marijuana? Is the lack of clinical trials a reason to keep medical marijuana illegal? What should be told to the thousands that are already getting help? But they are probably only imaging the benefits as there haven’t been any clinical trials or very few in this country if any.
Because Big Pharma recognizes that this plant may offer more than there garbage pharmaceuticals they are trying to foist on the public they will do what they can to keep the lid on this information. But the majority of people have had enough and are getting medicinal marijuana passed in several states.
If it was up to you and your ilk this wouldn’t have happened because of the lack of clinical trials. Meanwhile thousands have to suffer in the process. You must be so proud!
Technically 24 can be considered several.
Also, how big is big pharma? I mean relative to other large corporations?
Is it like [---------------] this big? or like [-------------------------------------------] this big?
Big like Citigroup inc.? or big like a football field?
Or maybe just as a segment of the entirety of businesses in the us?
You keep putting words in my mouth without the slightest ability or even willingness to comprehend my position. You don’t reason, you align yourself with an imaginary ideological tribe and then attempt to declare war on all who point out your ignorance. The only problem is that you’re a moron that can’t reason and is therefore ill suited to intellectual conflict.
You’re the reason some people advocate for IQ tests for voting. I sympathize with them even if I can’t agree.
That would be zero. No one works at Walmart for zero dollars an hour.
Correct, which is what capitalism does… (Well the version we currently have as compared to the shit stain socialist and communist garbage you no doubt worship.)
I’m pretty sure it’s more calories in vs calories expended. Just a wild guess, but yeah, I’m going to bet on the fact people aren’t burning off enough of the calories they are taking in.
Both and neither, depends on the specific question involved.
People donate. A corporation isn’t a sentient being ffs. It’s a legal structure that limits personal liability of ownership in order to encourage innovation and business risk.
I would bet my dinner tonight that you couldn’t even define let alone describe what a corp is, or how it operates.
Because there wasn’t a RE bubble of that magnitude?
Can you even form a realistic description of why you think that law would have prevented the meltdown?
Holding my breath for this one, lol…

So you take a defensive of avoiding the question and attacking me instead. Nice tactic.
Nice way to avoid the topic being discussed.
The removal of Glass-Stegall helped to create the bubble.
It was Glass-Steagall that prevented the banks from using insured depositories to underwrite private securities and dump them on their own customers. This ability along with financing provided to all the other players was what kept the bubble-machine going for so long
Without the separation of banking and underwriting, it’s just a matter of time before banks repeat their well-honed practice of originating garbage loans and stuffing them down customers’ throats. Congress had the answer in 1933. Congress lost its way in 1999.
Are you trying to pass this off as your own?
Looks like plagiarism to me.
