The Guy Who Didn't Give Up

Amazing.

Saw this the other day…I love stories like this

Makes me wish everyone had the kind of optimistic outlook, motivation, dedication and focus that this guy has. He was told by experts he’ll never walk unassisted again and now he’s laughing in their faces. Makes me realize that no matter how much someone knows, they don’t know everything…

Bless his heart.

And his mind.

Any time I find a fat guy, complaining about anything that can be solved with exercise and nutrtition, I am going to show them this guy. This was awesome.
…but I’ve got bad knees…
…I’ve got arthritis…

FUUUUUCCCKKKK YOOOOUUUUU!!!
100%

fuck the lazy and unmotivated

Ehh, I preferred it when Jared did it.

Copycat.

Self high five.

I can’t imagine how awesome running felt for him after all those years of not even walking unassisted!

What exactly did DDP have to do with this guy? Was he his coach? was the guy just a fan?
Who is this DDP guy? Everyone know Arash was his coach. How else would such a transformation be possible.

DDP = Diamond Dallas Page
Former professional wrestler

Shit like this makes me realize that I’ve never really had to face any real adversity in my life. I don’t know whether that is good or bad, but it’s the truth.

Thanks for posting this, I can somehow relate to the guy’s story.

@Mods
Any chance this could be stickied in the “Injuries and Rehab” forum?

What’s really crazy is as amazing as this story is, and I really mean not to take anything away from it, but there’s likely someone out there who was in an even more dire circumstance and came out on top.

People are amazing, and it’s too bad there’s not more of this on the internet and less memes and fucking kitten pictures.

That was fucking awesome

Amazing, I’d like to think he went back to them doc’s who said he’d never walk unaided, kicked them in the ass and said “how you like them fucking apples” Or something like that.

3:36 = FUCK YEAH!

USA! USA! All the way! All the way!!

Can’t imagine how good it must feel for him to be able to run like that again after the way he was.
Everytime I’m running and out of breath, etc I always imagine, what if I was in a wheelchair or something? And it makes me want to run even more.

This video was fucking great. Way to go for that guy. I wish the rest of the world could have this mindset when facing adversity.
