This is Harold Ford Jr’s uncle. While Harold Ford Jr. is becoming a political “golden boy” as of late, many people outside of TN don’t realize that his success has much to do with his family’s incredibly powerful “policital” (corrupt) ties.
I don’t trust this family and I hope this opens some of my fellow Dems’ eyes that Ford is far from the future of this party.
It seems as though ‘former’ Senator Ford was guilty of much more than this. He seemed to have a long and storied dirty past. Corrupt from the beginning I would suppose.
That is what comes from entitlement. Above everything–or so he thought.
It sounds like this was quite expensive, I wonder if he will have to repay any of this money towards the cost of the sting.
It certainly would hurt the young Ford, but remember that the Kennedy’s weren’t the cleanest family on the block either.
Not trying to compare the two families other than to suggest that if this guy is of strong character, he could overcome this. It’s still a long way out for this guy-so who knows.
You can tell he’s guilty just by the 'stache.

He (Ford Jr.) is planning to run for the U.S. Sentate seat that Frist will vacate if Frist sticks to his term-limit pledge, which all indications say he will.
