Oh yeah. I was blown away. Here’s another pic from a different angle. We were downright giddy out there, giggling like girls lol. We probably threw back one hundred that were too small but five years ago we would keep.
Nice Rainbow from a couple days ago. Total count was something like four Bows and thirteen Coho’s. Ran ten rods from approx 7:30 am to noon. Whoever thought up planer boards is a fucking genius!
Humid as fuck though, never seen shore the whole time out there. We were only five miles out. Weird fishing in a fog bank at ten in the morning.
The very first rod popped two minutes after sending down the cannonball. Turned out to be the biggest too. Awesome day out with friends.
Lake Huron is fucking rocking right now. Water is clearer than I’ve ever seen it. The gobies everyone feared were going to ruin the great lakes have ended up in the bellies of all the bigger fish, perch are gorging on em’. Numbers af all species are up from what I’ve been told.
I hope it’s too cold up here for those asian carp, that’s for sure.

It’s good to hear this report!
I have a buddy who’s been killing Walleyes since May in the Saginaw Bay.
Michigan needs a good fishery, so happy to hear that Lake Huron is kicking ass right now.
