The Derek Chauvin Trial

That’s why all of the police should go on strike and let everyone fend for themselves…then the dems will learn that law and order is needed

Then cities would decide robot cops are cheaper than real police people.

Only in the communities that the elites, who don’t live there, say should abolish the police.

That’s already in the works

And the mostly white and Asian programmers would be deemed racist, and therefore the robots would be racist.

You might say I’m a dreamer.

We would give the robots infrared, Predator vision. Then they wouldn’t see race.

And I’d cover myself in mud to rob banks.

This bears emphasis. The areas most wracked by crime are almost always the areas where there is an above average desire for a larger police presence among the residents.

I’m sure the “glitch” was in the robot’s racial sensor and recognition. It thought the white guy was actually black.

No doubt true, on all points

But again, VERY UNCOMMON for police – in the precise circumstances of an unarmed man dying in police custody – in the US to face much of any consequences at all (unless we’re counting paid administrative leave as one)

A stealth juror is exactly what this sideshow needs. Geez… Will see if this story has some substance to it.

Substance to it? There is a photo of the juror in the shirt in the article. That’s pretty substantive.

If this continues to another trial, watch there be riots just because of it.

Not well enough equipped to say what the chances on this are, as I’ve heard everything from “really no chance” to “could very well succeed”. But on this I agree - it’s a lose-lose no matter what.
