The Democrats Agenda

The RNC wins (of course) so long as fake issues such as gays and abortion, and fear are more important than factual information. This has little do with the value of any agenda. By wide margins most americans agree with the agenda, but other fake issues are obviously more important, and hence right now the RNC wins. I’ve no idea what turns the tide the other way…but that doesn’t change the soundness of the “agenda”.

Lower taxes
Lower spending (okay - so that one is off the table)
More originalist/constructionist judges
Growing the Economy with less gov’t interference

The left cannot list things that they are for. If they did, especially if they listened to their financial base (read radical far left), they would be crushed.

Your simple dismissal of the issues that appeal to middle-america, the red states if you will, is symptomatic of the entire left-wing. Instead of dressing yourselves up at sitting at the “we know better than you do” table, the left needs to actually listen to someone that is outside the beltyway, or the east coast, or the west coast. You might be suprised what you hear if you r party actually listened.

Judging by the current state of the fat cat republicans in office right now - I’m not so sure that they are that much different than the dems were in the days of Rosty Rostenkowski, Jim Wright, and the rest of the greedy bastards.

Like I have said before - it is a very sad state of affairs for the left when the right is facing the woes that they are, and are still looking at picking up more seats in November. That’s gotta sit sideways in your craw.

I disagree.

And for them to go after Bush on this spying bit…just way below the belt. ALL Presidents have used domestic wiretaps etc. since the technology was available. Now we use it to protect our own country and it’s all of a sudden wrong.

Lame, lame lame. Get an original agenda with some substance.

Obviously you don’t understand some basic issues. President Bush wiretapped on americans without a required warrant. That’s illegal. “Them” is also members of both parties. Other presidents have used the legally required warrants-- I’ll assume you at least know what those are. So no, factually it’s not below the belt at all. In fact President Bush’s imperialism is cause for a great deal of concern, if you care about things like the constitution. You being a wingnut and all, probably don’t.

As for the rest, the agenda remains, quite extensive. Little, if any could be called reactive, and most are unique to the democratic party (i.e. “original”)

Given the circumstances and the place our country is in this is still constitutional in order to protect our freedom from terrorism. And the fact that this program is an issue is partisan crap.

I agree the democrats have original ideas when it comes to socializing medicine, but this agenda has many flaws and makes government bigger. That’s an agenda too, to make gov bigger and tax more for programs to support underprivileged people and welfare programs. That’s about it though.

lower taxes(on billionares/companies)- a reaction to appropriate taxes (aka investing in america)

lower spending- never happended/fake issue this is something Democrats do (federally).

more originalist judges- reaction to judges that understand actual constitution is not stuck in a time warp. Also fake issue. Conservative judges most active on the current SCOTUS.

Growing Economy- Fake issue. Economy grows best under Democrats in general. Also economy not growing for most americans.

Again by far most americans totally agree with democratic agenda…see universal healthcare.

How is that not a lie. It is and you know it. Your answer to be truthful should be “I don’t care about that lie”.

Nope, it’s still unconstitutional.
