And as a side note unrelated, It is good to see the UAW get a tentative agreement and the 300k marching on D.C. over the Israeli and Palestine continuing conflict. Have the masses finally decided to buck the narrative they’ve been swallowing for 75 years. This kinda stuff warms my heart.

Offensive =/= bad/nefarious/evil.
For example a gun is purely offensive weapon that may be used in a defense situation.
Go read a history book on how well populations/cultures with subpar weaponry have fared in the past. Or go read about Tibetan (a generally peaceful culture) oppression under China.

Nope, there was never such a thing as a barter economy. It was entirely made up by gold bugs to help explain their faulty economic model. Read economic historians like Michael Hudson or David Graber.
