I’d say 250 is not enough. The absolute lowest I would start would be 400. 500 is better.

So how far are the gains going Cortes…review my friend.

Good call on the kettlebells. I envy you on having your own yard. I live next to the park…great for GPP and skipping rope. The kids going to school are entertaining as hell.

How is the calf?

Hey Cortes-

You mentioned wanting to shorten your stasis/taper. Jelly Roll did a shortened version of it, and I’m in the midst of mine. I think the biggest part you can manipulate is the stasis portion of it. If I read P’s theory correctly, the stasis portion is to help give the body time to clear the ‘exotic’ forms of AAS, over the test. Since you’re running a test only cycle, that length of stasis shouldn’t be necessary. I only did two weeks @ 100mg/wk, and began the taper on week three and still feel pretty good so far. I’ll let you know if I run into adverse affects over the course…

5.0

You guys (Cortes, fiveoh, and Jelly) are very wise to have researched on this forum prior to your AAS use. Your first cycles have all been very successful. The taper is a wonderful thing that I wish I used for my first cycle. There are actually a lot of things that I wish I did different my first cycle. You guys were patient and are now reaping the benefits. Congrats

I can’t say enough about the vets that contribute to this forum, and the folks like Jelly Roll and Cortes that take the time to detail their experiences. It’s been invaluable to me. Thanks to all!!

This forum is an amazing resource for those who take the time to just read and listen. I’ve learned SO MUCH since I started hanging around here. I filled up two school-books full of information before even creating a profile.

But I think lurking can only take you so far, you have to log in and interact and participate. I’ve learned twice as much from everyone since I started posting. Getting feedback from people on logs like this is a great help.

Really, I wish I’d found this website 10 years ago.

Thanks a ton from me, too! I just got a PM last night from someone asking for advice on their first cycle (inspired by no less than this thread), and the exact core advice I gave was to be really, really patient. That was exactly what I attributed to my personal success this go-around.

I’ll also say here that the particular quality of the advice on this forum is far superior to any I have encountered on any other board in my research. There are a lot of decent boards out there, and a couple of quite good ones, but this one really seems to be the best. Most well researched and innovative answers, great variety of suggestions, willingness to entertain new and often contrarian ideas, and least forgiving of laziness!

Calf took forever to heal. Seems to be mostly okay now but I don’t want to go aggravating it so I’m thinking diamond calves are going to have to wait until next spring.

Gains are holding steady at 225. As I’ve said, I don’t want to get any bigger than this at this point, but I am going to try and clean up the diet a little bit more now, in addition to some cardio, and hopefully maintain this weight for the remainder of the cycle while changing body composition a bit. I don’t know if I am bloated or getting fat, probably both, but I am a bit softer than I would prefer to be.

Arms are still falling asleep every night, waking me up. This is very frustrating and I can’t wait for my body to adjust.

Having my own yard (in Japan, for those who don’t know, this is a serious luxury) was one of my musts when my wife and I went looking for our new place. It’s small, but on days that I can’t get to the gym I have tons of my own equipment and I can set up a decent workout and it’s a lifesaver.

I know you are starting your next cycle soon, right sawadeekrob? Got going yet?

I am going to hate to see this cycle end. I have both enjoyed and learned from it considerably.

Things that I would like to see before you sign off on this one would be:\

“After” pics posed much like the “Before” ones. You were smart enough to remember the first ones so you might as well enjoy the second sets.

Letting us know what mistakes you feel you made. There can’t be many but would be good to hear “If I could go back and do it again, I would…”

Last, maybe a couple months post cycle, just give an update. How do you feel? Where did you stablize phyically? etc…

Anyway, just a few things that I would be much obliged to hear. Mostly because you are one of several folks who have been unofficial guinea pigs for my future cycle…hehe

Yes I am preparing to start the first week of January. Have all the details planned out, but the problem I told you about the change in company esters had me worried.

Basically going to shoot T250 + Deca 100 E3D with a taper. If I can get some extra income from a movie they want me to participate then I will add some Oxandrolone at the end.

At one moment I became crazy and wanted to run Deca @ 400 + Test 250 a week, because my joints make me feel like I am 50…I hate getting old.

Anyway I don’t want to hijack your thread and I will start my own with my trainig, nutrition and goals. Want to contribute to the cause as well.

Thans Cortes for all the help. You are a great addition to this board.

Cool, man, let’s hear it! And thanks for the kind words!

To update. I posted in another thread that it appeared gyno was starting to develop and I have been taking 40mgs of Nolva a day for nearly a week now. I’ll drop to 20mgs at the start of the 2nd week. I take away two points from this. First, I should have never relied upon proviron to prevent gyno, and from now on I will run arimidex throughout my cycles. Second, now that the nolva has taken care of the estrogen issues, I can see that I was ignoring, or, rather, explaining away, important warning signals. I experienced basically all of the symptoms of elevated estrogen levels. My nipples were sore, itchy and inflamed, but these feelings would come and go and it is so cold that I thought I was just being paranoid. I should have been more paranoid.

Another thing I have noticed since the nolva has started taking its effect is that bloating has gone waaay down. I was thinking that I was gaining fat. Wrong. I’ve probably lost 5lbs of water weight this week, and I feel so, so, so much better for it.

Depending upon what happens, I will either run nolva through the remainder of my cycle, or change to arimidex for the last few weeks. I ordered from a well known and reputable research chem company, but I’m shipping into Japan, so I don’t know what is going to happen with that. I’ll keep you updated.

How long to do you have left on your cycle? A low dose of adex is something I wont go without any longer.

3 weeks. I completely agree with you, and this is what I will be employing from now on.

I will definitely be leaving the country now, in March, and it looks like I’m going to be stuck doing traditional PCT. I am now thinking that I might just as well stick with the nolva, as it is working and I have plenty.

Do you think I should just keep running a low dose for the next 10 weeks or so (3 weeks till cycle ends, then 2-3 weeks for test to clear, then another 4 weeks for PCT)? Or should I take a break around the time of my last shot for a couple weeks then start again?

Stop the adex at the end of the cycle. Prior to pct. Dont want it to interfere with the body returning to normal.

Sorry, I was the dummy who didn’t have adex in the first place. I’ve ordered some but am thinking of just continuing the nolva instead. I was wondering if I should stop it before PCT, then start again. Did you mean nolva?

From what I’ve read, which I know lacks personal experience, I think you should run the nolva for the remainder. You’ve only got three weeks left of the elevated doses of test. You can run an abreviated stasis (two weeks) and then go right into your taper, where you’d want to incorporate the nolva, anyway.

Just dropping a note to let anybody who is still interested know that my last injection is January 18th, so I will have updates, beginning/ending stats, before/after pictures, and reflections up later this week.

Sorry this last month I haven’t posted much. After I hit the weight I wanted to hit and started growing out of my clothes, I decided to just coast. Strength has, happily, continued to go up in the meantime.

Details on all this and more coming soon. Thanks again to everybody who has supported me throughout this. It’s been a great start.
