Would you teach them that when Christians actually followed Cannon law as it was practised since the birth of Christianity as an organised religion, gays were killed, adulterers were killed, polytheists were killed, people who worked on the sabbath were killed?
Would you explain Mosaic law which is almost identical to Sharia law?
Would you explain how out of 1.6 billion muslims many many many millions are not literalists and have become secularised in the same way Christians and jews have?

I would give a historical account and current practices. I would teach how religion influences how states act. I would also compare/contrast individual rights and liberties in each.
