- Didn’t think it was important. And it was equipped and if you’ve read anything I’ve written on the topic recently, you’ll find I don’t have much personal use for equipped lifts anymore so I don’t put a whole lot of stock in it. I’m sure I could bench much more in the ridiculous shirts they have out now, but you’ll never catch me claiming that weight either. I am MUCH more proud of a 500 or better raw squat than I will ever be of a 700lb equipped squat.
I’d like to see a heavy max effort “strict” GM. I’ve never seen one. Tell me, WTF is a “strict” GM? Please find me any West Side video and show me a max effort “strict” GM.
