You don’t spank a child because your patience has been drained; you spank them for training purposes - to make them better human beings.

Good grief.

How does teaching a child violence result in a better human?
The same way swatting a dog with a newspaper when it’s shitting on your carpet makes it a better dog.

The same way kneeing a dog in his chest to teach him not to jump on you makes him a better dog.

The same way using a bit in a horse’s mouth teaches him to be a better horse.

The same way grabbing a cat by the scruff of the neck who’s climbing your screen door makes him a better cat.
So you believe children are the same as animals?

I’m sorry that you felt the need to instruct me on how to gain strength and mass after all you did was read some Flex magazines.
Okay.

I believe when it comes to training children and animals a lot of similar tools and techniques are effective.

And I’ve trained both.

You’ve trained neither.
Okay.

And I would never let you within a thousand yard of a child for whom I was responsible.

Based on what you’ve written and the fact that you decided to play nasty here let me inform you that I doubt you have the ability to be responsible for a child.

So your 1,000 yard perimeter will never need occur.
???

where have I been nasty?

I have been honest about my distaste for hitting children.

I wouldn’t want someone who so fervently supports the use of corporal punishment near a child whom I was responsible for.

I don’t believe I have been nasty at all.

I would say you got nasty with me first by implying that because I have no children that my opinion is not equal to that of yours.

However, if I agreed with you, you would be praising me for my intellect.

I know the games that are played.

When you say, “I would never let you within a thousand yards of a child for whom I was responsible,” even though it is implicit it is a crystal clear implication that you consider me a child abuser and a clear and present danger to the child for whom you are responsible.

And THAT my dear Mitzi is a direct frontal assault on my integrity, honor and morality.

That is akin to Deb calling me a creep who used to stalk her.

And when you and/or the Debs of this world pull dirty tricks like that you are going to get confronted.
Okay

Of for crying out loud, I never said that. Jeesus.

Whatever buddy. I’m not interested in you or your drama. Buh bye.

Just posting to show my support to Pushharder because I agree with his view on the matter.

Overall I agree with push, probably wouldn’t have taken the animal route but I’ve trained a few myself (beyond “sit” and “no”) and see your point. Hell some kids are like Mustangs. Takes every ounce of patience, available tool and some luck to “break” them while preserving their spirit. I was this way. With out a strong hand who knows where I’d be.

Kinda like you never sent me those nudie photos, huh?
Fucking cheap shot there, chief.

Bi also agree with push. I will repeat what I said earlier. If you think you know how to raise children without having raised any yourself, you have zero credibility on the subject of raising children. I don’t condone the beating with a belt, especially a 16 year old. If you have to beat your 16 year old, YOU fucked up somewhere along the way. I am not a bad parent for having spanked my child. I try very hard to be the best I can and I am proud to be a dad it’s the best job I’ve ever had.
