What I don’t understand is why, if Al Qaeda really wants Kerry elected, they would produce and release this tape at this time, which almost certainly helps the Bush/Cheney ticket. Of course it’s likely that they just don’t understand how America will respond, and indeed I think it is a great failure to believe this enemy thinks the way we do, but this seems like a failure at the most basic level of their intelligence arm. Perhaps they just aren’t as smart as I’ve been led to believe by some.
Also, anyone else find it interesting that Al Qaeda has its own “Media Liason/Production Committee”?
I have read the Qu’ran. English translation of course. I have also read the English versions of the Hadith’s…do you know what they are? They are the stories of Mohammed’s life as recounted by his followers.
How about the Surrah’s (I apologize for the spelling I am travelling) I read those too. Also read the Bible…cover to cover.
That is fantastic and I commend you on your prolific religious reading. However, I do believe your characterization of Islam as a religion of extremists is wrong.
Well travelled too…cool. Why not post your resume and really knock my socks off!

You are misinformed, idealistic and naive.
This bothers me little seeing how I don’t think I’ve ever read an intelligent thought from you on this forum. Touche.
Perhaps one day I will. As of now I am satisfied with my cursory knowledge.
I should instead follow the hedo dribble? Sir yessir.
If you can honestly and objectively read the Qu’ran and come away with a message of peace for all mankind then you have read something I missed.
Do you know that if a Muslim even questions the message of the prophet, in his own mind, he is condemmed for eternity??? It’s all there…not hidden.
Perhaps so. Doubting is not acceptable in any religion that I’m aware of. Further, we’re having a discussion about whether Islam is a religion of hate and you mention that muslims are not to doubt the message of Islam? What’s your point?

As to the leadership being replaced. No kidding. The farm team moved up. Big drop off in skill levels.
How the hell do you know anything about this? Shall we argue over whether or not the new crop can put on their sandals as fast as the old crop?
I agree they can be defeated. You know how I think they could be best defeated? By fighting THEM and not Iraq. Too late for this approach, now.
This just seems desperate. There was no warning before Sept. 11, why would there be now? If they are close to pulling off a huge attack, the dumbest thing they could do is point it out. If they aren’t close, the only thing they can do is make threats.

Actually, there are more Buddhists in the world than Muslims. India and China have lotsa Buddhists. And just to bust your balls some more, if we wanted to, we could wipe out all the humans on this planet about ten times over. At least.
You brought it up son. Don’t argue a subject you know little or nothing about and then rely on the time tested left wing method of attacking the opponent rather then the topic.
And by the way I feel the same about most of the topics you have commented on.

Well, looks like we’re both wrong…but you’re more wrong than I!
Christianity: 2 billion
Islam: 1.3 billion
Hinduism: 900 million
Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist: 850 million
Buddhism: 360 million

I say bring that shit. If they want to bring more pain to themselves, then that’s their problem. Only this time, there will be no such thing as a white flag. RLTW
yeah chrisitan out number all other religions in the world…it used to be that catholics specifically outnumbers islam and buddhism but i think that has changed in the past decade or so…but christianity is still the dominate religion of the world
