Tenet steps down!

DanH
Take it easy on PtrDr, he is a model christian who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior! He follow the teachings to a T and always has love and understanding for his fellow man! Now, lets go kill some Iraqi’s yeehaaa!

"They had 12 years to hide them wherever they wanted. give me twelve years to hide something and i bet you wont find it. "

—>This misses my point. With the amount of clear, undebatable, detailed info that they claimed to have, shouldn’t location have been roughly known?

Sir, even Bill O’Freaking Reilly has apologized, as I understand, for there being no WMD’s…

enough of this religious bullshit. We have heard enough from the bible thumpers already, you know the ones who go to church on sunday and forget about the rest of the week, lol.
Practice whatever religion you desire, but dont try to shove it down others throats!

Gosh, Kuri, if there’s a woman in the Bush administration, she must be there to be sodomized! Excellent point!

The burden of proof was not on the West to go in and show evidence of the WMDs - the burden of proof was on Saddam Hussein to comply in total with the international community’s demands to disarm and present evidence of disarmament.

Saddam didn’t.

Just as a doctor goes in to excise a tumor only to find out it is benign, the procedure had to be done given the risks.

Moreover, US intelligence has always pointed to an existence of WMDs in Iraq. Bush didn’t come to any conclusion Bill Clinton didn’t come to. Our Monday morning quarterbacks seem to think Bush invented these claims - nope, he inherited the intelligence and acted on it in a different way.

As for Tenet, the ‘slam dunk’ comment is regrettable, especially in a field of such uncertainty (intelligence), but it wasn’t a mistake to go in and excise Saddam’s regime.

Just wanted to remind the people who still oppose the Iraq War: If we had listened to you, Saddam would still be in possession of WMD. He would still be supporting Al Qaeda. He would still be killing his people. He would still be bribing the U.N.

Give that some thought.

Jeff

P.S. George H.W. Bush gave me a call and asked me to stop posting so much truth. It’s hard on his pocketbook.

Don’t worry guys, Rumsfeld said he knows exactly where the WMDs are, on Meet The Press.

And Powell said he knows exactly where the mobile weapons labs are, in front of the United Nations.

Tenet said he wants to spend time with his family, that’s a laugh. He would not be working as the head of a major agency if he wanted to spend time with his family.

Tenet’s #2 also stepped down. I suppose HE also wants to spend time with his family? What a coincidence.

All I want to know is WHO’S NEXT???
Whose neck is next for the chopping block???

Say, why did George Bush consult with a lawyer this week, over the matter of the leaking of the name of a CIA operative to the press?

"Just wanted to remind the people who still oppose the Iraq War: If we had listened to you, Saddam would still be in possession of WMD. He would still be supporting Al Qaeda. He would still be killing his people. He would still be bribing the U.N.

Give that some thought."

–>Thought given…15,000 Iraqi civilians would still be alive and living in a system that THEY are accustomed to, that only WE cannot understand.

Funny how Reagen’s death knocked this story out of the news just like it knocked this thread off the front page!

The more I think of it, reason tells me the director of the CIA DOES NOT QUIT in the midst of a war and the hunt for the world’s most dangerous terrorist in an election year. No, he definitely doesn’t!

Lumpy…are you dense?

In fact the mobile weapons labs that where found. Pay attention.

Also, last I heard, tenets’ number 2 was taking over at least temporarily. Love to see where you heard that from

Also, perhaps everyone missed the recent Washington Post, Weekly Standard, and Wall Street Journal Articles about the link between AlQueda and Iraq. Its pretty damning.
