Also with the current system we pay about 30% in taxes. Then we can add another 10% we pay for everything we buy from consumer goods to gas at the pump. So currently we pay close 40% of our money in taxes. I feel that we should at least have a better health care system being that we are the richest nation in the world.
Currently the average health policy that you can carry for yourself is about 700 dollars per month. I would love to see the flat tax be put in place, say at a rate where it could contribute to social health care so that anyone paying tax would automatically have health insurance through a federal system. So in essence we could establish a new federal health organization in place of the IRS, which would be very scaled down.
