T-Men Prone to be Conservative?

It will continue whether I answer your question, or not. First thing, though - you eed to learn to read, and comprehend.

This is the third or fourth time I have had to tell you to read what is written.

How can a discussion continue when you can’t even read?

I don’t care to fight over the matter, because it is a very
complex issue and the matter is framed in zero-sum terms, which ensure that it will be just a screaming match.

Anyway, there are other possibilities than liberal or conservative. For example, there are anarchists and other shades of libertarian socialism who do not believe in government, believe in self-reliance and individualism. However, they just dont believe in capital, which they view as a way of living off of another person’s labor.

BTW, I tend towards the above position, albeit being a pragmatist, I don’t see a way to enact it given the relatively primitive state of technology.

What in the hell do you want me to read?

The post I quoted said nothing about actually belonging to a party, but implied that using a “party template” to solve problems was not the T-man thing to do.

Tell me what you’d like me to read. I’ve read the post a few times and I still don’t see whatever it is you want me to see. Quote it for me? Bold it up? Italics perhaps? Obviously my inexperience is getting in the way of my literacy, I’m asking you, oh great old one, for guidance.

Conservative is not the best term to use here. For example, you’d find very few T-men in Africa or Latin America who are conservatives. They’re all revolutionaries and it’s the sissified type who are conservative (i.e: content with the situation and opposing change).

It’s all relative…

How many Africans are members here? How many Latin Americans.

Your lack of relevance is exceeded only by the size of your vagina.

Holy shit! That had me in stitches. Thanks for the laugh.

I need to add, I am getting fucking sick of people on this sight putting a t in front of everything thinking it represents something.

For the record, liberals are a bunch of spoiled pussies who want a bunch of free handouts.

Inner Hulk is a troll and Rainjack has anger management issues. If Inner Hulk isn’t a troll, then I’m very disappointed. Our education system has failed. RJ still makes me laugh.

I don’t have anger management issues. I have no tolerance for bullshit. Particularly when the bullshit is being spread around as if it means something.

At this day and age that is an anger management issue.

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And - which is more - you’ll be a Man, my son!

You must not have been here for the Testosterone cult days. When this place had 17 readers, 2 supplements, no forum, and every article included a gay reference about Cy Willson.

Well duh.

RJ could tone it down a little, although I imagine he has been driven crazy by attempting intelligent and logical conversations with liberals.

Liberal: I am glad gas prices are high because people will quit using gas which causes global warming, which Bush tried to cover up by attacking those towers, then lying by saying something about some food for oil thing, so we went to war, for the purpose of making money for his rich oil friends, resulting in big jumps in gas prices which I hate, and therefore hate Bush.

RJ: Uh, what?

L: I said I am anti-war because I hate violence, because violence is wrong, and Bush keeps supporting violence by killing girls who want abortions, so I wish he was shot.

RJ: I thought you were against violence?

L:Quit putting words in my mouth. Disagreeing with me means your a Nazi sympathizer. And if its one thing I hate its the Nazis, oh yeah, Jews too. Damn Bush.

RJ: But the Nazis were killing the Jews.

L: What the fuck is wrong with you? Why are you bringing up the Nazis? I was talking about Bush, and how evil he is. He keeps sending all our jobs overseas, so nobody has any jobs here. And then that son of a bitch wants to stop the Mexicans from coming here and getting all those jobs that are available that Americans won’t do.

RJ: Do we have a lot of jobs here or not?

L: There you go changing the subject from Iraq. You Bush loving bigot. Must be some Zionist conspiracy, I tell you what.

And it was at this point that RJ went completely insane.

That’s a good point.

As far as ideals; less government, more freedom, etc. conservatives in developing countries would not be considered conservative at all. They would be considered revolutionaries wanting to remove the oppressive governments that limit individual freedom.

I like this poem… but wasn’t Kipling the guy who helped start the imperialist movement? Or did he just predict it…

Wikipedia, here I come!

What exactly is a T-man? Someone who lifts weights? Someone who has high Testosterone? Or simply a member of T nation? You operate under the assumption that this website is home to some sort of dying breed of man…

Being a T-man does not necessarily have anything to do with lifting weights. T-men are those men that are proud of their masculinity. Those that stick up for what they believe in and are not ashamed of their desires and skills. T-men are fair and just. They are both mentally and physically strong. T-men are men of high intelligence and responsibility. T-men can be relied upon by friends and family. T-men raise their children to be proud of their gender and the traits associated with it. T-men treat women with respect but acknowledge the differences between the sexes. T-men are leaders.

Did I leave anything out? I think this sums it up pretty well.
You forgot to add that it’s a gimmicky, made-up catch word from a bodybuilding web site and many of the site’s readers like to use it to describe anyone they think kicks ass.

O this is fucking hilarious. I love it!

I agree with the original posters comment about t-men (sorry chewie) being conservative. I am and I think it does have some kind of correlation, probubly not to the amount of Test but at least to our type of mindset or work habits or idk something.

As for following a party to the T. Why is that a bad thing? If you happen to believe strongly and completely agree with the republican party then why souldnt you? I’m not saying I do 100% agree with everything but I know there probubly are some people that do and its NOT just because they follow what the republicans say its because they actually feel that way themselves.

Furthermore we all should make up our minds for ourselves. Too bad we’re not in office and people have to draw lines somewhere. You know an independant isnt getting elected to the whitehouse and theres no fucking way I’m voting for a democrat so its bad to vote for a republican because I agree with most of their stuff but not all of it? I know your not argueing this but think about it, you have to vote with the party that most closely resembles your views even if you dont agree 100%.

I meant the European Imperialist Age, but I was wrong anyway. He just prophesied it in a few of his novels.

That wasn’t the point. Of course you can vote for the GOP or the Dems, it’s not applying the “GOP” template to every issue (IE: Deciding for yourself) that I find “T-like” (this T shit is getting to be like Apples “iLife”…).

If you examine each issue and decide your opin ions match up to a party/candidate PERFECTLY… well you’re probably either a part of a very small minority, or you’re letting someone else do your thinking.

“You can be sure when two people agree on every issue, that only one of them is doing the thinking.”

Paraphrased from… gah, can’t remember.
