Supplementation and Is It Worth It?

Should probably mention that the majority of my supps are “health” supps like fish oil, vitamin D, ZMA, glutamine, psyllium, potato starch and a probiotic.

While I can’t really “feel” these working, I trust the science and will take them for the rest of my life.

I don’t know of many supplements that are worth the price of the gains/PE effects. I like to research and study any supplement and its individual ingredients before even considering buying it. For the most part im always steered away from them due to lack of evidence or scientific study’s on them using human test subjects ( we are not rats ).

At the moment Creatine is the only supp i take and find it worth the cash. Im sure that there are ( too damn many ) supplements that may prove to have some performance enhancing benefits on the market but not for me. I like to keep it simple. Natural Foods, Compound lifts and quality Rest, those have never failed me or my wallet.

The product I have used from this site Alpha Male, was a product that you know is working!!

I second Chris Colucci.
It is crazy out there with all the recent amino spiking coming to light. Not to mention other things that have not surfaced as of yet.
That is why I stick with Biotest. You get what you pay for. And remember quality is never cheap. This is what we put into our bodies. I would really like Biotest to list a known number of current companies that are under investigation for playing around with their product labels. I am not talking about slamming, but real information about these scum bags that take hard earned money from working people and not delivering.
I remember reading an interesting article called THE PROTEIN INSIDER An Inside Look at the Protein Business by TC.
Check it out and it will open your eyes to what is going on out there in the supplement world.
