You can post the info on my thread. I don’t want to high jack yours you have already been more help than you probably realize though I would be interested to hear the in and outs of each doc.
Finally received my new after being on 80 mgs of Test Cyp a week. 2 times a week of 40mg subq. No adex or HCG. Oh, blood was taken 18 hours after injection of 40mg.
Total Test: 970ng/dl (241 -827)
Estradiol: 39pg/ml (<or=39) high?
Hemoglobin 15.7g/dl (13.2-17.1)
Hematocrit 44.1% (38.5-50.0)
PSA, Total 1.1ng/ml (<or=4.0)
Any thoughts or recommendations?
Okay, I had a test completed above (Quest)that was about 18 hours after my injection of 40mg and I just received my test scores for 48 hrs after injection (mid point)from Life extensions (Labcorp) and they are listed below.
Total Test: 373 (348 -1197) on first test it was 970 (241 -827) after 18hrs from injections.
Free Test: 12.4 ( 6.8 -21.5)
DHEA-S: 244 (44.3 -331)
Estradiol: 39.5 (7.6 - 42.6) was 39 on last test after 18hrs from injections.
Curious if a dip of 500ngs in 30hrs is common. I know I need to do something about my E2 but I’m wondering if it might be best if I start doing my injections E2D instead of 2X week. Maybe lower weekly amount to 70mg and add HCG?
Any comments are appreciated.
Thanks.
It is a bad idea trying to compare levels across different lab providers.
Your TT drop is more than I would have expected.
Why again is your dose 80mg/week? Too low, peaks should be above range.
How long injecting twice a week for the lab work.
You need to manage E2 with an aromatase inhibitor [AI].
Adding hCG might improve T levels and fill in the lows, but depends on age and other testicular things.
Thanks. I originally started at 60mg/week and then slowly went up to 80mg which I’ve been doing since the end of December.
When i first started Test Cyp I would get very anxious, almost to point of having a panic attack. So, I dialed back and slowly started increasing the dose while I was taking other supplements for possible adrenal issues. Looking back it was probably my e2 increasing that was causing some of the symptoms. I had the same thing happen when I first tried HCG. I would feel great for the first 8-12 hours and then I would get a burst of adrenalin that would cause me anxiety. I stopped the HCG after trying a few times.
I’m thinking maybe a MWF schedule will reduce some the swings in T and perhaps helps with the e2.
The steadier levels of T from more frequent injections, and also SC not IM, will reduce T–>E2.
Thanks KSman. Would I just add a little more on my Friday injection to cover me over the weekend or do those two days really matter?
You can tailor doses to incremental number if 1/7th of you weekly dose if you want. They can be different.
Just curious about a symptom I’ve been having the past week. A few times during the week I noticed my ears were getting real red and the skin on my chest a little red/blotchy. Would this be considered flushing due to high e2?
I started taking .25mg/week of liqidex (2 drops EOD) but missed a few days because of my travel schedule. I also switched to an E3D schedule instead of 2X week injections. Increased weekly dose by 10mg to 90mg. (.17ml E3D)
Just wondering if my red ears is from high E2 or adrenalin from the increased T. I also have the brain fog
HI badrad,
I have been experiencing the same/similar reactions with regard to anxiety/panic attacks. I was hoping to PM you, but I was unable to do so. I have been on TD cream for nearly 2 months and have had very poor results (lots of anxiety/panic about 2 hours after every application). I am waiting on my sensitive E2 assay, but I’m certain that I am estrogen dominant based on an earlier test and my symptoms.
I stopped taking hCG entirely and cut my TD cream dosage in half and that seems to have helped. Granted, now I’m low on T and feel like crud, but I cannot function with the panic. I’m curious, are you still experiencing any anxiety? I hope to switch to shots next Monday. Thanks!
Hi Zerodarkthirty,
The panic is pretty much gone except for the flushing I’ve been experiencing lately. However, when I tried the HCG it worked well for about 8 hours and then I would get a strong adrenaline rush that would come close to pushing me into a panic episode. I tried lowering the dose and the same thing occurred. I’m not sure if it was pushing my E2 to the limit or my Test.
It’s unfortunate, becasue it really had an impact on my well being for at the least the first 8 hours. I strongly believe that my E2 in the past was probably a cause of the panic attacks. The cream/gel didn’t work very well for me and I was more prone to the anxiety when using.
Good luck.
Have a question - I started taking l-dex for the past 30 days and noticed the past two weeks that I flush more often and have been getting weird cramps in my muscles. The cramps usually happen when I stretch a bit. I never had this happen before. I drink plenty of water. Could it be the liquidex or maybe high e2 still?
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.
Anybody?
If E2 goes too low, some report joints can ache. Others will report low libido and mood problems, some times depression.
We see some guys get leg cramps with TRT, perhaps correcting E2 exposes one to this issue. It is transient. Low magnesium can lead to cramps and taking magnesium can be helpful to resolve these low mag issues.
Not sure about what is going on. You have to experiment.
Thanks KSman.
I just received my new blood tests back. I was injecting 17-18ml E3D and taking .25mg of liquidex a week EOD for about two weeks prior to my tests. My E2 was 39 when I started the liquidex and was 20 per the blood test. I guess I’m a over responder when it comes to AIs. The test was also taken the day of my next injection but prior to the shot. It looks like I could afford to go up a bit on my dose.
If my total t was 375 on the morning of my next injection what do you think my peak is?
Does everything look okay? Free T okay?
FYI took me 200mg per week to get to the upper normal range. I think you’re under dosing yourself…
Thanks 3%. I’m thinking the same thing. However, I originally started at 60mg a week and had to slowly increase the dose. When I tried 100mg a week it really increased my anxiety and I felt like crap. My body just couldn’t handle the initial increase in T. So I have been slowly increasing as I get other things under control.
Thanks for the feedback.
I’ve got everything pretty well dialed in myself now. But I would consider one thing - DHEA - it’s cheap and for me at least it has increased my feeling of well being. My numbers started dropping after I went on shots. Last test showed 96(45-345) from 196 initially. I’ve just recently begun taking 100mg/day.
I don’t know, could be placebic, but it sure doesn’t hurt.
Thanks. Yea, I’ve noticed my DHEA has been droppign abit since starting TRT. I’ll give it a try.
