I see - I’ve only known the OP to promote violence against women in various forms, having unprotected sex with 16 year olds and hatred of gay people. That obviously doesn’t qualify under those criteria. I assume though it’s more an ad hoc approach to moderation which is to blame, rather than a conscious effort to support the above. I can’t but agree. Even from a marketing point of view - I can’t imagine that letting guys who promote rape like the OP free reign on your property is good business. For a while I was able to argue that the level of debate, the usage of sources and the general range of views especially on PWI made the T-Nation forums one of the best on the web. Not anymore. No wonder many of us old posters are leaving.

Yeah, I can’t but agree with you both. Perhaps I’m too new, but I never really saw the type of debate you’re talking about Makkun (perhaps on a thread or two, but certainly the exception to the rule). Mostly I came here to blow off steam and see what the right-wing types were dreaming up. But lately the site is full of abject craziness.
During the election when conspiracy nuts, bigots, and crazies talked about the “Muslim president of Kenya” and Obama “being a Muslim” or “not being American” people spoke up. I could laugh because it seemed like a fringe group, even on this forum.
Now, when certain posters advocate (for example as I saw the other day on this forum) mass forced expatriation based upon religion, I only watched general acceptance of this blatant bigotry. It’s getting to the point where I’m afraid of what happens if I have to go through another background check and this forum pops up.
These forums are great aren’t they? In the this thread we have Clip advocating rape and providing a lulzy source of Fail. In the off topic forum under the thread, Earthlings Documentary, we have posters advocating the torture of animals.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love this site and have been visiting/posting for a long time. It does, however, need to be moderated.
I’m not sure why Rainjack was banned from T-Nation, but I know for certain he never advocated rape.
