Stuff White People Like

they like jokes dont you know?

I just make fun of everyone, especially for stuff they can’t help. But since I’m a white Canadian I love to make fun of white Canadians for being white and Canadians. I call many of my fellow white Canadians pot-smoking commies. I love saying “fucking white people” when anyone of any color does anything silly. the confused looks are what I live for. Especially when I agree with soem native guy that says “fuckin’ whitey” and I go “yeah the white man is always fucking shit up eh?” It kills me.

That being said I also make slightly loud domestic abuse jokes with my girl friend in public places. So I might not be a good example of what is socially appropriate and what isn’t.

“that’s gonna get you a closed fist woman!”

It’s funny cause it’s not.

I’d say its more about having a sense of humor. If the racial pot shots aren’t malicious I’d say they do more to take the power away from racial words than hurt anyones feelings.

Scary, I think we have the same misunderstood sense of humor. You think other people should be getting the joke, but they don’t and we’re mostly amusing ourselves. But that’s ok, the average person amuses me greatly.

I am honestly surprised that I haven’t been reported to the cops under suspicion of abuse. After bantering back and forth with some playful “I might not have to beat you up again tonight if you keep this behavior up.” and “Well i know you only do it because you love me” type comments on a mall bench w/ my gf this old dude who was sitting on another benchwas waiting for his wife. After his wife came back and he got up he siad, no word of a lie:

“You two keep it cool now, ok?”

It was surreal and made me feel bad almost because he had no idea whatsoever how to interpret sarcasm at all.

Worse is when im training my buddy CJ whose black and I;'m showing him how to do stuff and people are close and he starts saying:

“yes, mas’sa”

Worse than me.

Ok joke or not.

If I posted a thread about what black people like.

IE

Smoken Blunts
Gansta Rap
Bitches and Ho’z
Low Rida’z
Fried Chicken
Water Mellon
40 oz beer
Bling Bling

Or better yet all Azn’s like

Rice
Computers
Camera’s
Soya Sauce
Stir Fry
Honda Civics
Drift Racing
Martial Art movies

Everyone one would be offended and say I am racist. But if you post something Whitey supposedly likes its funny. Nah its still racist.

ROFLMAO I really do that stuff all the time - we do have the exact same sense of humor and most people just don’t get it. When you say something so patently ridiculous, like I do alot, people should get the joke…but most don’t.

One time at work, a black lady was chastising (good naturedly) me for not putting lotion on my elbows correctly. I responded, “damn white people don’t know how to even put lotion on right” and she just about fell over and bust a gut…but other people had that dumb look on their face. Some get it, most don’t.

Instead of referring to a headset by it’s name or as a headset calling it bluetooth

LOL! Technically, it’s old white men or Mexicans of any age who do that.

  1. I don’t have one. 2) If it is a bluetooth call it a bluetooth. Headset conjures an image of what the frycook at McDonalds is wearing.

White people LOVE a Mexican Gardner.

LOL!

No joking. I live a couple of blocks from a posh area where all the homeowners are white, all the gardeners are Mexicans and all the garbagemen are black. It’s like a giant stereotype come to life.

I laugh when people get mad at stereotypes. There’s a reason stereotypes exist. Because they’re true!

That site is hilarious. The best part about it is you laugh because you think it’s describing other white people and then you’re like, “Shit… I do think I can bring about a change in season by wearing shorts as soon as it starts to get slightly warm.”

Great blog, IMO.

Yeah, but I’m sure if someone made a list entitled “What Black People Like”, it would not be taken lightly. Moreover, I absolutely hate the way it is OK for everyone to make fun of white people and it is in bad taste to make fun of anyone else.

Sandals/Flip flops: It could be winter time, snowing, and 10 below Farenheit yet I would find a white person wearing sandals with no socks.

Copying stuff black people did and then twisting it in their own way: Rock n Roll, Jazz, Hip Hop, Fashion, etc.

Golf, Rugby, and Hockey: Its the only sports you have left. Don’t even say baseball because I will get someone from the Dominican Republic to whip your ass.

Wine and Cheese: I still don’t understand this one.

Dancing off rhythm: Get up, turn on a radio station that isn’t death metal or country, and dance for 2 minutes. Done yet? Good. Thanks for proving my point.

Playing that funky music: Play it to you die, white boy.

Yeah same thing here. The thing is I say sarcastic things but without much of the sarcastic “tone” in my voice. But as far as Im concerned the sheer ridiculousness of my statements or their lack of appropriateness should be the key that im not serious. But some people take me mad literal and think Im a total Douche nozzle (they would be correct but that’s not the point).

I suppose it’s what might be called “multi-level sarcasm” because it’s not really interpretable at face value because we say it so literally. You know who does get it though? aussies and brits. Every time there’s one around they pick it up right away and end up being the only ones laughing besides me. I suppose it’s cause they primarily have a very dry sense of humor and especially dry delivery. and dry delivery is what gets misunderstood by the folks around us.

Super fun though. It’s how I pick my close friends. If they get it then they get the dubious honor of being my good buddy. If not then they are naturally alienated.

Those things look like something Uhura used to wear in her ear on Star Trek. I will NEVER IN MY LIFE affix one of those devices to my ear. They look absolutely stupid and the people that casually walk around with them in their ear like they are some fashion accessory look stupid too.

And, while I’m on a rant, if you wear your cell phone on your belt, or anything else on your belt for that matter, STOP IT NOW. YOU LOOK LIKE A MICROSOFT CERTIFIED WING NUT…

Gardner is an atypical Mexican surname. In fact, I’ve yet to see one.
