In the latest issue, TC stated “For instance, when you walk, squat, or sit, flexion of the knee and the hip occur together. No problemo. However, when you run and kick the knee is extended and the hip is flexed, so that you’re really stretching out the old hammies and the risk of tears or strains becomes a factor.”

My question is this, aren’t RDL’s representative of a preventative exercise for hamstring pulls, because there is only hip flexion without accompanied knee flexion. Thereby stretching the hamstring beyond its normal ROM
