Strong Words 11-02-06

Well, I hate when people start threads for the Strong Words but I couldn’t help myself. I just love this quote, it really speaks to me. Sure, it is great to look good nekkid but man is here for more than that.

To produce something viable and lasting in partnership with the earth around us is, for me, one of the greatest feelings. I’ve always had gardens and enjoy working in the soil; the sentiment Marcus is getting at applies to more than literally a vineyard. Do something with your strength, whether it be of the flesh or character!

Great quote. I am glad you started this thread. Actually building something real and useful is so satisfying.

It is too bad manual labor pays so poorly and is looked down upon.
