Stopping TRT After 8 Months, PCT Help?

I just have been up and down on it. Iv had problems with hot flashes and my hands swelling and insomnia and restless legs and irritability and acne. And I’m tired of messing with it. Test every week. HCG twice a week. DIM every day. Anastrozole once a week. Blood every 6 weeks. Donate blood every quarter. My HSA is getting low it’s expensive self pay at the clinic. Plus they tried selling me on progesterone cream and Cialis and a bunch of other stuff.

Pre TRT was TT 384 FT 6.6 E2 15
28 years old
But I wasn’t sleeping much, drinking a lot, under stress and not working out

Bro seems to me your TRT was very poorly managed and thats why you are so unhappy with it

I believe so as well but I think if I come off and I maintain a healthy life style and sleep good and exercise and stop drinking I’ll come up to where I wouldn’t qualify for it again. I’m not as stressed at work, under new management and if fixed my relationship at home as well.

You can try that but if it seem to not work go to a doctor that knows what to do

Your Clomid dose is unusual and not standard dosing, standard dosing is 25-50mg daily. Your doctor is mistaken, HCG mimics LH, it doesn’t stimulate its production and does suppress the HPTA.

Well I got the RX for the clomid, and the directions say to take 50 MG every day for two weeks, then take 50MG every other day for the third week, then the last (4th) week to take it (a 50MG tab) just 3 times. I am thinking of adjusting this to a sliding scale… more like 50/50/25/25 or some thing… I got my last shot today as planned, only 100 MG of Test Cyp. I plan on finishing the rest of my HCG over the next 18 days (500IU every other day) while the Test half life esthers out of my system, then starting the clomid on day 18. ill keep you updated.

Alright so I stopped taking my Test Cyp, hit 500 IU of HCG EOD for 18 days then I started clomid 50/50/25/25. Went back 2 weeks after PCT and got tested. results are pretty much the same as pre TRT.

Total Test 355
CFT 7.8
E2 25
SHBG 27

Left the T clinic, went to a Urologist, he is willing to write my RX and let me take home, self administer and split dose into smaller more frequent injections. He pulled labs again, waiting to confirm before starting again.

Finally you get to fine tune your TRT protocol. I would stress daily injections based solely on E2 levels and the fact TT is low, otherwise I expect estrogen sides. Ideally you want TT 650-800, FT at the top and estrogen 25 where it is now and this can’t be done on anything other than daily injections.

You will need to put the work in at the gym to gets the best benefits out of TRT.

I read your post, and got lost in the numbers.
For myself taking 200iu twice a week it increased my Total Testosterone numbers by 300.
Old school wisdom says lager doses cause hypogonadism, you don’t need to stop HCG, if your doses are relatively small, even EOD will do the trick.

Drop your HCG dosage to 250 EOD for better results…
It is highly likely lowering your HCG dosage will raise your Total Testosterone.
