I honestly didn’t want to post to this thread, as the OP comes off as a fool, however, I have to now, as it’s getting funny.
I have mixed feelings about snitching, but the way the OP put it, I have to disagree with him. If I get robbed, and I know who did it, you best believe I’m going to handle him, as well as call the cops. I may get into some trouble, but he’ll get the worst of it. If a serial killer is next door, and I know for a fact that he is one, cops. Drug dealer/serial killer, he would do well not to cross my path or darken my doorstep. If I see him doing the dirt, yes I’ll call, but only as a final resort, as I would have already confronted him. It all ultimately depends on the situation, where you live and such. But the idea of not snitching has gone way too far. And to use Cam’ron’s gay ass as a role model is pretty much some pink, fruity-type bullshit. that dude is just plain sorry. Sorry rapper, and possibly a sorry person.
To make it personal, I’ve had friends who ran on both sides of the law. It’s simply a fine line you and they have to walk. Oh well… bored now.
I agree with you Beast, one thing in your case you should consider. Any crime in your area is considered a felony. So if you have to handle business, make sure its worth it.
Your reference to rappers who come off tough because they dont fear jail have never been to jail. When some soldier comes up to you with 5 of his friends and says “Fight or Fuck”, you find out real quick what kind of balls you have.

So go ahead and snitch. If your life has any value you are going to have to fight for it regardless. But don’t be an idiot about it. Use the weapons that you have at your disposal wisely.

Hey Zep, there’s this thing called building rapport. I don’t have to condone what the drug-dealer does, however, he will do what he feels he has to. As I have said before, I’ve had friends on both sides of the tracks, so I have somewhat of an understanding of what it is the drug-dealer is doing and has done.
Again, I don’t condone it, so I would take steps to ensure we don’t come into conflict. Especially if I have a family of my own. Now if I flat out witness him shooting and killing someone, then yeah, I’ll call the cops, but in the interim, I will try my damnedest to move out of that environment, and should he or she threaten or try anything with my family, then not even fear of death would stop me from confronting him.
As for survival, I’ve survived a lot of things in my short life, and you best believe I’ll continue. Don’t assume.
