Last week (monday)
FULL SQUATS
1st set 10 reps 155 lbs
2nd set 10 reps 155 lbs
3rd set 10 reps 135 lbs
4th set 8 reps 145 lbs
5th set 8 reps 145 lbs
This week (monday, today)
FULL SQUATS
1st set 10 reps 145 lbs
2nd set 10 reps 155 lbs
3rd set 10 reps 165 lbs
4th set 9 reps 175 lbs
5th set 6 reps 185 lbs
approximately 90 seconds rest between all sets. no more than 2 minutes, usually 90 though.
Was straining pretty hard the first week without Spike. This week it was pretty controlled up until the 2 reps of 4th set and the last 3 reps of 5th set. Seemed pretty focused.
I’m just curious as to whether or not these are normal progressions in a week by week workout, or if it’s better than normal. BTW as most know, i’m not huge or anything, just 5’10" 172 lbs, and don’t consider myself all that strong. But I thought today’s effort was better than normal.
So, did Spike help me?
