I don’t think most people are that far apart. I can see common thread between Occupy and Tea Baggers. I think dissatisfaction in Government runs deep in America

If you are going to call the Tea Party, tea baggers, then the occupy needs to be called Occupoopers.

I was living in NYC at the time and I covered the whole Occupy event as a reporter–one of the most intellectually vacant, repulsive collection of clowns I’ve ever seen. The big events attracted a lot of run-of-the-mill NYC liberals–normal people with jobs and showers in which to wash themselves–but when you went down on any given Tuesday and met the hardcore crowd, it was unsettling.

I thought the only 9/11 truthers were Conservatives. So liberals are truthers? I also bet those rats tasted pretty nice roasted over crap patties.

On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.” letter to James Warren, November 4, 1775 [/quote] Carson of course makes some good points, but then misses the most important one of all. He says we can overcome these problems because we’re “smart”. None of this nation’s problems are in any way a result of stupidity. They are the result of willful ignorance and celebrated debauchery. Sam Adams could not have possibly been more right. Even Carson doesn’t seem to get it though I have a feeling he would agree with this post if he were ever to read it.

Nah, stupidity is pretty well-represented across the political spectrum.
