Social Media Meltdown

I enjoyed that. I particularly liked when the old dude was like “You want to fuck with me? I am the gangster!”

I also thought for a second at the start the old dude was going to get his ass kicked by the check shirt guy. He was getting pretty aggressive.
You have to take into account his OG vegas playboy days. It must have really taken a toll on his old, gold-digger magnet of a heart by the time the restaurant shtick came round.

I’ll commend the old guy for how calm he was around Gordon compared to his super-bitch of a wife. She might be the single worst female I’ve seen on one of the Hell’s Kitchen shows.

Nothing could have prepared me for that second half of the episode. Those people are insane, I’m unsure how they survived as a business for upwards of a year. Unless the male owner is old money, I can’t imagine there having been anything coming along to stay afloat with at any point in their business’ life cycle. I think I need to watch Masterchef just to calm my senses.
Seriously, I’m only halfway through the 2nd half and these people are monsters. I mean, they take the waitresses tips?

It’s terrible that the people that used to work for them were most likely forced to continue to work for them due to an unreliable application environment outside of that business, I can’t imagine anyone choosing their business over another normal one given the choice.

I am however incredibly glad the whole Twitter and Reddit fiasco happened, as if Ramsay’s criticisms weren’t enough to ruin them.

I wish one of the servers would have said how much the hourly rate was. I can’t imagine he was paying them well since not a staff member there looked old enough to drive let alone realize they are being used. Then again they kept showing up for work and in this economy jobs is a job.

I remember waiting tables for a couple years during college and $20 an hour was expected once you added up your tips. I very highly doubt the servers at this restaurant were being paid that amount.

LOL

The top comment on that video, it kills me.

Are there any Amy’s Bakery memes out there yet?

Grand Reopening… Called it!

Yelp has this listed as temporarily closed for now.

“The owners will likely be holding a press conference before the Grand Re-Opening and answer falsehoods depicted on a reality television show, including assertions that the restaurant confiscates tips from servers.”

Sammy literally admitted to taking tips several times… this should be good.

My favorite artivcle on the subject so far:
