I wonder how many people will give the WP7 a chance when the new wave of handsets, the Mango update and the new adverts start?
Honestly, if you’ve used an iPhone and are considering switching, it’s a great alternative.
Not try to sound like a fanboy, just being genuine when I say it’s a great platform.
I think a lot of people are put off by the windows tag before they even give it a chance. I had an old windows phone (samsung omnia) about 3 years ago, it was probably the worst phone I’ve had and that put me off windows phones for life.
I really like android, but I will say that the experience seems to change depending on the hardware that is running it. I also think that the lack of quality control on the apps means that you have to spend more time separating the wheat from the chaff than with an Iphone.
I think the platform you choose really depends on how you use your phone. If you are not too worried about personalising and fine tuning, than the iphone probably is best. But if you want more control over how you use your phone than android is probably better.

You’re right about Android giving you lots of control.
MS should’ve called the phone something else TBH, but it is part of what is coming next year. Windows 8, the Xbox update due this year and WinPhone will all tie together. There’s even rumours of Xbox games coming to the PC - or at least a lot more integration with it.
Just keep your eye on Nokia in the coming months, they’ll be launching a Ã?£80 million ad campaign soon.
This is why i will not even consider a windows phone till they are 2-3 generations in… windows has proven in the past they never do anything right the first time…
My sister had an old windows phone and was glad someone stole it…
