Single Leg Hypers

Have any of you guys done single leg hypers before, mainly for sports performance (Speed, Jumping…). Just wondering your thoughts.

Tried them a couple of times, didn’t like them at all.

do you guys know the kind i am talking about? where if you are at full extension you are at a 45 degree angle to the ground. I dont know if that is the typical hyper extension but, im just clarifying.

Luke Lowery, author of the “Vertical Leaping Project” is an avocate of this movement. They are very difficult and gives your glutes and hams a wonderful challenge. To make it even more difficult, use and throw a med ball to a partner while going up.

I don’t think it’s any better than basic deadlifting and squatting…
