Was very worried about these. Legs still totally trashed. Reps ended up smooth and fast but inner thigh pain was real. Was glad when they were done.

Kept these light and it still felt like my hammies would rip.

These felt very easy. Good lat stretch

Good pump
Good session. All the exercises flow well together, just need my legs to hurt less.
Strongman Saturday
Dusted off my log for some overhead practice.
Worked up to singles at 80.5KG (178 lbs), then finished with a set of 10 clean and press with 63kg.
30 mins all up. Good session
I need to step up my pressing game…

This was a very very good training session. Squats were so solid, and the accessories were pure 90’s bodybuilding. Quality

30 mins of sled drags up and down the car park at the gym
10 mins steady pace on the echo bike, alternating every minute between just legs and arms n legs together.
Great low impact cardio, flushed the legs with blood which will hopefully help with recovery. Raised the heart rate and hopefully burnt some fat.

I was pretty happy with that back shot. Hopefully I can keep that size and shape as I drop a little fluff. I have realised that I need to do a lot more back work. The 9 weeks of hypertophy showed me I can cope with a lot of volume and the more I do the better it feels. Adding more back accessory work to the strength blocks going forward.
I have an experienced buddy who I’ve lifted with a few times over the years… Every time we get to accessory work he says “when in doubt, hit back”. A strong back is never, ever a bad thing!

More importantly I am feeling jacked. Shirts are tight, I feel fully pumped when training. Caught my reflection in a shop window when out walking with my girls (alright I was checking myself out really) and thought ‘damn I look like a solid unit right now.’ Happy
