Regarding the fight not happening.
"Silva-Liddell is pure business. UFC agreed to the match thinking Pride was going out of business and if Silva won, great, they created a new star.
I think they now recognize Pride was working them in the negotiations, and while they expect Liddell wins, there is no point in them risking it.
They’ve got probably a 95% market share in the U.S. and if Silva wins, it opens the market to Pride. Pure business says no point in doing the match. Pride worked them, but when Pride didn’t pull out of Las Vegas on the 21st, UFC understood the game and there was no upside for them to do this match."
