Should He Stand?

No he didn’t.

Chip Kelley is a racist? Damn, scouting all those black kids over the years really fooled me.

So, If I understand you correctly, he is just a whore for the money? Have no principles because if he takes a stand, he won’t get a raise because the team doesn’t like him? so, who runs the team? the players or the head coach? So if the majority of the team wants to shit on the flag, he is willing to drop his pants? If you are correct, and you probably are, then he is a pathetic piece of shit.

So are cops, firefighters, doctors, etc. In fact when you put on a badge, you give up rights to refuse almost anything brass wants. So, I dont feel any sympathy for highly paid pampered assholes.

I appreciate you answering the question about the Philly coach, I should have realized it all came down to money. Hopefully, the Eagles lose every fucking game this year and he gets his weak ass fired.

First, I’m in favor of Kapernick and the other players protesting by kneeling during the National Anthem. That being said, Goodell is a little bitch.

He definitely waited to see how this played among the public (and NFL sponsors) before coming out in favor of the players right to protest.

The protest by taking a knee, is equal to dropping a $10 into the Salvation Army Christmas bucket and then eating a sandwich at home, since you “sacrificed” your Olive Garden lunch cash.

Basically this:

Add another “fuck you” next to Arian Foster’s name for me.

Great point. There is no specificity to what they’re protesting about and I’m Not sure what they’re actually wanting to be done. It is dramatically different that protesting a specific legislation or cuase where if the big wigs change their mind the protest is successful.

-Miami,
Kelly’s players (McCoy, Boykin) made the comments about Kelly. I didn’t just make it up.

The Eagles didn’t set the League on fire, but 26 win in three seasons with a trip to the playoffs is way better than many teams.

Idaho,
You have to remember, this guy is a football coach. He’s been studying X’s and O’s, not the political landscape. He was obviously unprepared for the question. And the story didn’t even include the question the reporter asked the coach.

Its possible that the coach was speaking about an Eagles team wide show of unity Counter-Protest against Kapernick’s protest.

Also, its more about the coach loosing his job, which he has been working his whole life for, than not getting the raise. But yeah, The coach has a financial incentive not to make waves among his team.

:flushed_face: That’s news to me, and I live in Oregon..

“This isn’t the first we’ve heard about uber-controlling Kelly.”

“What’s different with Kelly is the racial factor. No coach in the modern history of the sport has been publicly accused of racial bias as much as Kelly.”

“Kelly has now had three separate black players say he has problems with black players.”

Mike Freeman, on the Bleacher Report Website, before the 2015 season. The season where the Eagles went 6-10.

The Eagles situation sort of fizzled out. Most of the players weren’t interested in any kind of demonstration. Everybody stood up with coach. 3 guys held a fist up.

Eagles new coach is 2-0, and made it through his first coach/player -challenge/clash.

I wonder if Jenkins will continue to cause friction?

So he’s a racist then?

Maybe. Or he could just be a dude who likes to be in charge, who lacks personal skills.

I’ve never spoken to him. I only know him by reputation.

Is big-ass Suh a dirty player? He has that reputation.

Is Incognito a Team Leader or a Bully? It depends on who you ask.

He pissed off two idiots and they cried about it. That isn’t a “reputation of being racist.” Just because a black person dislikes something doesn’t mean it’s racist or a racist reputation building occurrence.

Yeah I agree with you people scream racism when there is none.

Okay I’ll go along. Lets assume the Cover32.com story is correct and he has a reputation among the NFL players as a racist. Let me ask this, because I think it’s the real issue for me, has he earned that reputation? If so, what specifically has he done or said that is racially motivated?

Chushin,
Thank you for posting the article. What a disgusting display by the NFL. I agree, time to turn the channel.
