SHBG is it Good to Lower

Thought this thread seemed interesting as the replies were quite knowledgeable. Did you have any luck with your changing your hormone levels in the end?

I can help you there…

yes liz get out my thread pls

Sorry, i did wonder whether to create a new one. But wanted to know if you had had any success in changing your hormone levels through diet or exercise? Thanks.

And also did you find out if your iron levels were low as someone suggested in the thread? I also have low iron but thats only been in the last few years since i had problems with wheat so not sure if it’s cause of my low hormone levels.

hello any updates here? I think my shbg is too high and e2.

miniarnold, any chance you’re on an SSRI? Some of the things you’ve said make me think you suffer from hyponatremia, which (if you’re on an SSRI), could be a result of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone.

I know this is old, but I had to write something about my blood levels of SHBG.
Level is at 25.0 nmol/L. Pretty good for a senior citizen. All the others are quite abnormal. The other factors of the test should show that my blood should it being out of whack! NOPE! I have no idea, but readings are that of someone who is super-human. No bullshit! Even my PCP is constantly surprised of my blood analysis to the point that she scheduled an appointment on March 6th, 2015 at 9:00AM.

I take a 2,350mg. injection of my own Test Blend once a every month, one injection and orals on the side which keeps my TEST level at 600 and above >1500ng/dl every month. Going on 9 years straight on January, 6, 2015.
