Maybe it’s because I listed to my dad’s old surfing music all the time, but I really like Dick Dale, and would put him in “greatest guitarist” thread.
For fun, this is a Dick turning an old folk song into surf rock.
For completeness, here is a pretty cute Jewess at a bar mitzvah turning the same song into a PAINFUL pop song, which I have endured 100+ times because all the mothers of 13 year old boys have the same “original idea” of playing it and/or having some wanna-be wedding singer sing it.

Indeed I have, but this is one of those rare occasions where I think the cover is better than the original (plus the commercial I saw had the Cash version). That Kermit one that you posted was great too.

if anyone listens to this whole thing, and gets why i love this shit so much, especially 4:30-7:00, shit drops hard at 6:00, these guys are fucking sick and the whole ep is fucking orgasmic.

Animusic. Completely computer generated animation and music with the animated instruments actually matching every note of every sound accurately. Even you hate this the work and talent behind one single piece is frightening.
