Setting the Record Straight

It’s got to be a left leaning troll attempt to balance out Headhunter. It’s got to be. I don’t think he can be serious. At least I hope not
All time funniest quote ever. Fox looks at all sides… Please. Having a democrat on does not mean that you give “all sides” an even chance.

I don’t mind bias- everyone…EVERYONE… is biased in their own way. But, claiming that you are FAIR and BALANCED is a joke. I am sure that the bigwigs who came up with that slogan laughed their asses off as they knew that some poor fucks would actually believe it.

How exactly do they not give all sides? Just because some of the hosts disagree with them and debate them does not mean they dont give them a chance. They are far more bakanced then anything else out there. Believe it or not I used to also watch CNN till they started calling American protesters racists and stuff like that. But then again you would have to actually watch fox to know what your talking about. Take a step away from liberal media and give it a chance you just might like it.

OP, if you want to see unprecedented, actually dangerous news/corp. bias, do some reading about GE/NBC/Obama Administration.

And if you’re going to post anything you want taken seriously, use something besides my.barackobama.com as a source. Geez.

BTW, I’m glad you “set the record straight” for us. Good jerb!

I don’t mind bias either, IF it’s not systemic and IF they will admit to it. You are probably right about Fox, but the bias in the media is a) systemic and b) all of those stations make believe they are unbiased. So all your criticisms about Fox are equally valid against the rest of the establishment, from the other side of the aisle.

Do you admit to that?

Further I would argue that one network slanting to the right is completely justified if the rest of the networks are slanting left. Note that I am talking about news coverage here, and I am not mistaking Olberman, Garafalo, Kouric, Hannity, Bill, Beck, or anyone else as any news coverage anchor. They are all commentators.

And no, I don’t watch Fox. I don’t watch TV news any more either, but if I turn on the channel I surf between all of them equally, including Fox.
I agree that ALL news is biased. My issue is that FOX explicitly claims that they are not biased (Fair and Balanced). These are the same fools who pumped up the birthers, and give credence to other conspiracy theorists.

Are you really serious?!?!

Didn’t there chosen one Hannity, run something called the STOP OBAMA EXPRESS??? how on Earth can this douche ever be taken seriously as a news analyst? His opinion comes first- then he searches for facts that match his opinion.

All news stations claim to be unbiased.

ABC claimed their obama infomercial was unbiased. ← probably the most biased thing a network has done with the exception of maybe offering olberman an election anchor position.

This deserves to be quoted again for emphasis. ALL NEWS STATIONS CLAIM TO BE UNBIASED.

Also, you are again making the mistake of confusing a commentator with a news man jnd. Commentators are paid for their opinions and their ratings. You can’t get angry with Beck and not be angry with Olberman/Garafalo, or any of the other retarded things he’s done. At least not if you’re consistent.

But you know what? It doesn’t matter, they’re commentators.

The problem is that they are so prevalent, and that so many people mistake their views and opinions as news, which both you and pittbull have just done.
