Actually nate I totaly fucking agree, and there’s no Puritanism involved. All drugs are a stupid waste of time, money, and good health. Included the disgusting plague of everybody’s precious smoke. What Prof X is referring to is the fact that popular culture, social liberals, and the mass media have mindfucked the world into thinking that taking drugs is a good thing, and that it is or should be socially acceptable. And just like always, the world huffs it right up.

Your world view is blatantly biased. A plant like marijuana should be legalized and heavily taxed. It makes little sense for people to be thrown in jail or for our tax dollars to pay for the legal issues for something less harmful than cigarettes…you know, those things that only Liberals smoke.

OP, what are you currently deadlifting? What’s your squat, and bench look like? Which program are you following?
How about if after exams you work on setting a new deadlift and bench goal? See what I did there, I replaced your goal of getting high (instant gratification) with that of a long term goal (long term gratification). You will get a better sense of accomplishment in life. But, some people choose to smoke up once in a while and that’s you choice.
As for your pride and $20, chalk it up to a lesson in life and move on. Don’t retaliate, don’t spread rumours about the guy, just move on and forget about it. This may sound lame to you but your best revenge is to get educated, get a good paying job. Later on this other guy will probably still be stealing $20 from kids in order to “earn” his living.
