Gee who would have thought?

If yo want to mourn death, you should mourn birth as well, both are going to happen anyway.

the thing is, birth is a bigger curse

With an attitude like that, you should kill yourself now. I might not give a shit about death, doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy life.

I never said I dont enjoy like, I love it. My point was whn you die its over and there’s no more struggle. In deaththere’s only rest. That post wsnt meant to be a suicidal image at all…i guess i shouldve explained it better

In death you have no idea what there is. Keep that in mind next time you call it “rest”.

Speaking from experience?
My experience with not knowing what happens when we die? Yeah, that experience.

I see nothing wrong w/ most drugs. In a lot of cultures, they serve a medical, not in the sense of medicine some would consider, or a social/cultural purpose for rights of passage, initiation, or simply to bring people together.

Not too long ago, the United Nations told Peru and Bolivia that chewing coca should be banned. The disregarded the fact that coca chewing has been practiced since the dawn of time in the culture, w/ little to no ill effects. Its somewhere along the lines of telling americans to stop watching baseball and eating apple pie, which even is a weak comparison and most Americans lack a strong sense of identity, particularly culturally. Personally, I think somebody at the UN should have been punched in the face for that display of disrespect. Theres a big difference some dipshit doing lines of coke so he can continue drinking himself into oblivion, than a group of peruvians getting together to chew coca like you may share a couple beers between your buddies.

In the Bwiti cultures of Gabon, they have a hallucinogenic treebark called Iboga. It is not a pleasant experience and can be very disturbing. People recount ordeals of reliving every experience of causing emotional pain to someone, from that person’s perspective. The active component of the drug, Ibogaine, is currently being used to treat severe substance abuse disorders. People take it, see whatever negative aspects of themselves are causing them to use their drug of choice and gain some insight about where their life is headed if they keep using.

This is a video of a Westerner who undergoes a Bwiti initiation (it is long but awesome):

I’m not going to bring up ayahuasca or marijuana, but both drugs w/ a medical purpose, that usually get crapped on, but the point is drugs are not evil or the devil. Prescription medications are the same way.

Most of the people who die or experience negative effects of drugs use do it because it is their own fault. It doesn’t make drugs inherently evil or wrong. In fact, its stuff like this that is pushing a lot of drugs to labelled culturally as the root of all evils, when there is a lot more involved.
wow, get a life, looter

Survival of the fittest. When I was much younger I did all kinds of drugs, drank like a fish, drove my car real fast. At some point in time those who survive grow up and relize they need better habits. Those that dont… Well they lose.

don’t forget to reproduce… your survival is nothing if you don’t reproduce.

Thats the part most people miss when they think “survival of the fittest”.

Yeah and fuck airplanes and yettis.

You sure can. As long as we can hug and some times I like to open mouth kiss

Forget drugs, this was a viral marketing campaign for the final destination.

It’s a bummer.

But

Who’s looking up to a DJ to begin with?

If the guy had a serious problem with drugs, fought it, beat it and nearly died in a plane crash… DJ’ing IN CLUBS WAS A STUPID THING TO BE DOING.

I remember going to clubs in LA in the early 2000’s, everybody cracked out of their heads on E or coke or Acid or whatever, yet there would be a few people there claiming to high heaven that they quit the drugs and only came to the clubs for the music.

The shit that only really sounds halfway decent when you’re fucked up.

Celebrities aren’t role models folks. They’re human just like everyone else and usually more deplorable, too bad AM’s fuckup ended up killing him.

I wold probably try and save you, I mean if it came to a situation where there was no way out I would like to think I wouldn’t freak out.

I’d try and save you too though.

Are you seriously mourning DJ AM? Holy shit.
Ummmm, yeah. This.

If I didn’t give a shit about him while he was alive, why am I magically supposed to care now that he’s dead?
